Noobist, what are you thoughts on farming for bioanalysis mats after the nerf in the last patch? I'm finding myself only able to get single stacks off dead mobs now. This greatly increases the time it takes to accumulate resources. Is it a better idea to just ride around in a certain pattern, hunting for nodes now?

Ive been doing this on space slug with my ~30 toon (the farming is slower) and I am making about 100k per hour farmed. Implants are hot!

After I post a bunch I spam /1 with "lvl 25 implants in GTN now starting at 4k!!!"

I do think that the demand for these crafted items either HAVE decreased or WILL decrease as people get better stuff and level on. So feasibly selling ~50 of these items (for ~1hour of farming) simply isn't going to happen. Then there's the competition side of things - If there's anyone else doing it, a pricewar will break out. That's because if you can't sell 50 a day, you certainly can't sell 100.. so it's a goldrush to dump prices to get your stock off your hands before they're worth zilch.

Just a quick question, I'm unsure if you've already answered this, if you have I apologise ! But, just regarding your mindset when setting prices for items on the kiosk. Do you fluctuate is slightly around the recommended price ? Or see if competitors are selling it for considerably higher (3k higher for example) and then change it around their prices instead ? Just curious of your opinion.

Ahh so this is what everyone is up to no wonder the implant marked has crashed. On the hex droid server these implants are currently being listed just above 1k and still they aren't selling.

thanks for the help dude but i have 1 more question after watching some of you guides ive tryed many of this but theres a problem ive made the first lvl tech consumables you get for healing and there not selling nor are my compact medpacs and its not about others undercutting me because i check almost every 3 to 4 hrs on my alts and no one is under cutting me in fact im the only one selling these objects yet there still not buying what do i do my man.

Forget the medpacs vendor them or save them for your alts if you're really having that much trouble.

The money making isn't coming from the medpacs, but from the implants....

Yeah, I plan on doing that. The problem is I don't currently have editing software other than windows live movie maker or some crap....

I'm investing in the adobe suite soon and you can expect them to be clean....with titles....etc... Been a Mac guy for 10 years and now that Final Cut is dead (I used it for my day job) there's no need for a mac.

i thought this was a bit misleading. you can only make that much money "per hour" if you can sell that many per hour.... maybe you just have a crazy population in your server but i know i cant sell that many that fast in mine :(

It's not that you make the money in an hour it's that you put forth the effort (an hour) and in exchange get that money....I usually sell 50-60 bio-receptive implants per week.

I dunno about you, but I plan on playing SWTOR for quite some time. Who knows what future content will bring...mounts...companions...­.vanity items...etc... The money may not seem useful now, but in the future.....

After 30~45 minutes I made 33 of the Bios and 26 of the Hypers.

I bought "Toxic Extract" (for hypers) from GTN for 40 credits each.

Bios are selling for 3k credits, Hypers 2500.

I made an extra 15k credits from selling greens/trash, including 10~15 Alderaan badges which can be used to buy the blue mods to sell.

At level 35, I got 2 boxes of exp, you need 150/200 Bioanalysis to harvest the birds, I ended around ~280 (started @ 200) after 30 minutes.

@Si0nic Yeah.. I was doing that since the beggining. Sadly, the economic crashed in my server. Implants prices crashed completly. Everyone turned to Biochem for the reusables.

@isamank gotta know when to sell. ppl buy for higher prices at night on my server. although I do sell for a bit lower most of the time (down to 3k, high up to 6k). so I make 100k ish an avg on republic server
