It might just be lifter tick. My car sounds like it has a rod knock like sound but its the lifters ticking really loud which goes away after it warms up. Yes i have enough oil haha.

adjust your idle via the BISS screw in the throttle body. Its "idle surging" and bouncing from any specific idle speed to the next. There is an O ring under the screw that leaks. It is a $1.84 part. Change it and adjust idle speed. In = higher, out = lower once the screw is set.

well, check your vacuum hoses for leaks, if you can't find any, then you're good

yeah it could be many different things. the throttle position sensor is a good start. one of my talons does that to but then stops when it warms up, ive seen an automatic one jump from 1k to 2k and then back down in less then half a second and it stops after a minute of idling.

I just put i new idle censer in mine and my vacuum is fine there just dumb cars that idle stupid. most of the time your talon will idle at 1200RPM normal dont worry
