I love Belinda as well! Used to have the Runaway Tour on VHS, so that dates me!!

I think the track is faster, but impression was not too much quicker between live & recorded..

The band, er, the drummer, came in fast.......the downside to it is that she has to sing the words quicker and can't quite give you the subtleties and feel of the song on the record. She would blow the doors off if it were just a bit slower. She rocks.

Is she playing it faster....it's just your perspective. Sounds fine to me.

Believe me if you play the same song over and over for a period of 5 years or so, you would change it a bit..............

It´s true . She's a little faster but still singing great. She really has a great voice . You can notice it by the end of the verses when she cries "I get weak". I love this woman...

I went to see her in this show - 'Runnaway Horses' show - she really could and still can sing live or studio - and I don't think the long notes would have bothered her much - she often sang her songs at different tempos!

Actually, I'm the one who should apologize. I just rechecked and the album version is probably a good 10 bpm or so slower. Pretty much par for the course to speed tracks up just a hair when going live. Sorry for my previous comment.
