This was a really awesomely put-together video of a marathon! That is definitely a dedicated group of friends and family to have followed the runner the whole way through, it's definitely not easy to do that. In fact, do you have any tips to share for spectators? I'm running my first full this sunday at the RnR Marathon SD and would like to give my friends and family spectating tips. Again, wonderful video, there should be more like it! Thanks! :D
@TheSleepyJellybean what's up?! Congrats on your training, and good luck on sunday! Couple tips for your friends and fam...there is a day pass for the trolley/bus system there in SD that really helps! They can all jump on and off the trolley and go to miles (roughly, i forget the exact ones, but they'll be able to tell you at the expo!) 3, 6, 17, and the finish line. Tell them to bring bags with food and drink, it gets very hot and tiring for them, too! If they have a sign or wear bright...
@ashappy colors, that will help you pick them out of the large crowds. When they trolley around, it'll be something like, jump off the trolley, see you at mile 3, then they walk to mile 5/6, then they trolley to 17 and walk to 20 something, then trolley to the finish. Also, you can leave some gels packs or coconut water with them, instead of carrying it yourself! But the race does a GREAT job of providing gels and drinks every mile...have a great time! let me know how it goes!
