@LHondrums I think what he meant was that he thinks of 'double bass drumming' not as a separate thing, but something totally integrated into his drum set, as much as a snare drum or bass drum. Has anyone got the book? I'd love to hear about it.

@LHondrums LOL exactly my thoughts. he was either a) nervous b) not wanting to release any info about it, and trying to spike your curiosity into buying it, or c) so far ahead in drumming that he thinks these concepts are so simple as to be explained that vaguely and still have his point be made.
