  • cool, man..

  • If you know about "damage scaling": The more hits you connect, the less damaging the follow-ups are. Then you know most of these combos are not very practical to use in the game, but they are flashy nevertheless. (And off course this is the point of this video.)

  • @Kwalnoot I love damage scaling it prevents cheap 0-death combos too bad other fighting games don't do this some could really use it cough* Mortal Kombat* cough

  • Nice but don't do so much dammage :/

  • actually they do. is but in the mode the combos have been made they dont. sorry for my bad english

  • im curious...@ :51 secs couldn't Seth connect with his super or ultra after that combo??

  • beste SF4 combo i've seen. Anyone got some other good ones?

  • Well holy shit, looks like this got enough hits to get me the offer for "YouTube Partnership" or whatever.

Coolest thing though, is that if you combine the views from this video and min0ra's mirror of this vid on his channel, this beast is over 60k views total. :D

  • 60k dude that's fuckin ill.

  • I love that Ken combo with the backwards force Hurricane Kick. Very inventive.

    Nice combos.

  • 2:27 why is it that chun li's ultra takes no damage off?

  • coz chuns links into ultra does crapy damage

  • because the mode that there in make it like that sorry for my bad english

  • cuz capcom is a bitch chun is my main and i cant do no good links into her ultra cuz the damag scaling on her is ridiculouuss

  • WORD TO YOUR MOTHER

  • 2:19 WOW That damege in massive!

  • viper ultra combo did 75%

  • from 0:22-0:25 how do u do those mid cannon spikes with cammy for 360?

    thanks

  • read description

  • Dope 5*

  • Awesome! Nice play dude!

  • Did you not read the description, gundam? -.-

  • The Dan combo at 1:19 was probably the most epic one LOL..

  • so are these practical? I noticed you used infinite EX gauge... these are awesome no doubt...

I also noticed you didn't use EX moves ALL the time or 5 times in a row... so it is possible these are practical... but the parameters have to be just right... like using focus attack? well actually, that is easy... so nvm xD

  • there was no infinite meter used but these are practical

  • YES THERE WAS! xP I saw the EX Gauge was inf and never depleted!

but I know, like I said, the Ex attacks were used only enough so that the meter would be completely depleted. even though they used inf. meter in training. does that help?

read a bit further before you say dumb things sir

  • oh wow this is what I call a combo video, I was sure people will finally start to come up with something orgasmic

    great job

  • explain cammy EX IDK x4, it´s possible??

  • It's in training mode, which explains why the Super Combo Gauge and Revenge Gauge aren't depleted during EXs, Supers and Ultras.

  • And ? Ex move requires 1 Bar, 1X4 = 4 .... So i'ts possible. Only cancel needs 2 bars.

  • its in training modus, remember?

  • none of these combos really seem useful in actual matches. yea they're flashy and cool looking, but for the most part they aren't viable.

  • That was the point of the video. A vast majority of Pimp-Productions combo videos are to display the game engine, and to pull off combos that are flashy. Sometimes we get lucky and actually find something viable that leads to other shit ala a ripple effect

  • i understand that completely. some of that stuff is pretty damn cool. i just wish though more people did videos to teach the important character combos that alot of people haven't learned yet.

  • Can someone pls tell me how to do the Charge thingy wit chin li i can do the ultimate and everything with everyone exept the characters with a Charge thingy like the green dude chin le and the Boxer guy pls tell me ????

  • Charge means, that you have to press into the charge direction for about 2 seconds.

So chun is back (~2 secs) Forward Back Forward 3xP

  • 10x allot man really helped me :)

  • How do you link sakuras light hurricane kick/?

  • How are you guys so good with your links? Do you double tap?

  • 1:31 DAMN, bitch got RAPED

  • awesome LOL":.

  • yes pulling them off in a tourny would be hard but it would also be pointless. most of these moves are just flashy and because of the combo chain the damage is reduced, for the chun combo's its almost not worth doing the ultras at all because you dont take out much life.

  • The guy who can do those combos in a real tournament is god !

  • We should try to do another one of these Whitefolks....

  • Man I always forget to do the Uppercut, Sonic Boom, FADC with Seth. After playing around so long I got caught in a motion of wasting the bars on the uppercut EX-suction (forgot name sorry), timing is absolute key on that too so it's much easier to sonic boom FA lvl 2.

  • These combo's are pretty epic but I've seen better combo's for pretty much every character and can perform better. But before I get the bad rep I'll say this, these combo's are VERY efficient and not too difficult to learn for anybody that likes the characters shown.

These combo's are very lightly reliant on link comboing, it's mainly just special, FADC, poke, special, etc. There's no 4 pokes into it, obviously if you can extend on it great, it's difficult so if not then practice these combos!

  • Oh I'll say this. If you use a Dpad you should probably forget even trying the Cammy Cannon Strike spam, it's a pad-breaker for sure and next to impossible on pad! If you're confident on pad I'd encourage a max of about 3-4, you'd be best of Cannon Spike, FADC, ultra, (depending on your EX bar status extend on it).

  • Nice combo's!!

I wish I could pull off some Chun-Li ones.

Will probably be OK once I get my stick.

  • Damage Scaling and Ultimate move was created to let newbie had a chance to win.

  • Not necessarily, not for damage scaling anyway. Damage scaling is a common practice in fighting games to prevent players from trying to spam moves, primarily ones that are easy to execute with a high chance of success.

  • damn the last combo was just deadly. removed half of zhangief's life.

  • Wow, that damage reduction is ass.

  • here's an idea. how about dmg reduction being based on how much dmg u have done instead of how many atks u hav done? would that be better?

  • There is damage reduction like that as well in a way, based on how much life the opponent has left. So it's both hits and damage taken in total.

  • damn, jabs and shorts eat up too many dmg reduction, i think thats why sagats is so cheap, since he can link into hisultra with fucking hk's that hurt like a bitch

  • dope! :D

  • i think the longer the combos, the less damage it takes in the last few hits...otherwise it is kinda unfair seeing as u can block some of these combos!

  • 1st and 2nd hit = 100% dmg

    3rd = 80%

    4th = 70%

    5th = 60%

    6th = 50%

    7th = 40%

    8th = 30%

    9th = 20%

Each successive hit (separate moves only; things like two hit combos are considered 1 attack) is minus 10%, rounding up.

  • ****"cant block some of these combos"****...jus a correction to my original statement...

  • Chun Li's combos seem to do nothing lol

  • because zangief has high stamina

  • Also because of damage scaling.

  • What's damage scaling?

  • Basically, the more hits you do in a combo, the less damage you do per extra hit. Have a look at emperor1337's comment for details.

Chun-Li suffers a lot from this since a lot of her moves rely on hitting her opponent multiple times, rather than just one big hit.

  • Doesn't matter the amount of hits you get, the damage scaling is done per "input", meaning the hyakuretsu kyaku, even though it's several hits, it only counts as 1 move for damage scaling purposes.

  • Ohh, that's what it's called. I hate that. Super Street Fighter Turbo HD Remix isn't like that. Same with UMK3.

  • man i want to know iftheres a combo that takes all the health! vipers combo is the one the took most of it

  • Theres only one, only works on akuma and other low health characters. Fully charged turn punch then super. Chances of that ever happening in a real match are zero. Besides that one, no other combo will kill because of the damage dampeners

  • Insane . Just waiting it for Pc

  • I wish you would have done more bison combos

  • The 19 hit Ryu combo at the beginning made me drool...

  • oh my goodness lol

  • eye candy

  • Your mother.

  • how do you dash right after landing a focus attack? i see people do it and they follow it up with a heavy punch like Ryu's solar plexus or something. I always dash right after doing a focus attack but that doesn't seem to work. can anyone tell me please?

  • keep pressing "right right" after the hit

  • Awesome video, but if you could find out this amazing stuff for those characters, couldn't you please figure out some stuff for vega? he's my favorite, they have to have given him something. right?

  • how about zangief his my favourite pls do his combo ...

  • cammy's is my favorite :)

  • How do i perform chun-li ultra????

  • Charge back, forward, back forward + triple kick

  • hey do you knowh ow to perform sonic boom i know it's noob but i try pressing back and forward and it don't work. My friend said hold back for 2 seconds forward then punch that don't work either getting confused it stops me from using aloto f char's cause i don't know that movement.

  • its like your friend said, charge back, forward + punch, and flash kick is charge down, up + kick

  • I try doing that but i guess i need to practice it alot cause doing it for 20 mins i can't get it done one time except flash kick i pulled off one time but i didn't after that haha.

  • dude. quit SF! 20mins?! damn! it's not that hard.

hit forward and punch at the same time.

  • i'm bad with timing's in anything so it takes me a bit to get use to it, lol.

  • Charge back, forward, back forward + triple kick

  • It's the same as her regular super combo, but with all three kick buttons.

  • Needs more el fuerte :p

  • Comment removed

  • Wow. Looks like Capcom tried to make it where no one combo takes full health. The damage is very forgiving the longer the combo is. Doesn't even seem worth it but they are awesome to look at.

  • this is how nearly every fighting game handles combos. it's called Damage Scaling.

  • I agree with you, while most of these combos are very impractical in terms of damage and bar usage in a real match, I always love watching these type of combos videos and id give it a straight 10/5 stars these combo rock

  • Right i did not click on more info as i was passing through some stuff usually they dont have any usefull info but you do,so Well done from me ! :)

  • Obviously you never clicked "more info" like was instructed - as if you did you would've realized that there is a combo transcript there that shows every single combo is 100% possible in game.

  • incredible! that was the best I've seen so far

  • How come most combos stop taking off damage?

  • the more hits in a combo to lower the percentage of damage.

  • i am really impressed! BRAVO 10/10!!!

  • 2 hit focus?! Honestly, it never cross my mind to that! I'm no street fighter if I can't come up with something insane like this!

...Back to the drawing board with Fei-long...

Speaking of Fei-long, no fei long? You must have tried Fei-long. How is he in your opinion?

Oh yeah, that's the only good Dan combo I have ever seen! Dan F.T.W. !

    Nice one! 5/5

Who cares those combos aren't 'practical'? They legit and I don't mind getting owned by them!

  • How do you do Cammys EX Cannon dive from so close to the ground?

  • i can do both cammy ones. pretty easy considering she is a fast moving character

  • If any of these combos were done in tournament, people would go absolutely insane.

  • A lot of these seem useless for the most part . . . They do look cool though.

  • Yep, its flashy but not practical in tournament. For the damage most do for a 4 cost bar + ultra. Useless.

    Rather do a 4 hit meaty combo for 40% than 3 bars + 1 ultra for 50%

  • how do you time these so good? in the challenge dan keeps blocking

  • If he blocks its cause its your doing it wrong...

  • or too slowly, often, i thought i was doing something wrong, but i just needed to adjust the timing

  • Well the first Seth combo is the best combo on this video by far!

  • They look cool, but the thing is for the most part these moves seem useless. Their are far more effective ways not only to launch these combos, but to conserve energy and do more damage. They look nice, but are nothing more than flash.

  • lol most of the ending ultras did no damage. flashy but useless.

  • you got some awesome combos in there!

you should hav kept some ingame sounds, like fading out the music at times you know.. :) thats for the editing part.

Oh and by the way, can we download an HD version by any chance? again thanks for bringing such an awesome quality combo vid! keep them coming!

  • Good stuff man, This will be considered a breakthrough combo video in the future !

  • Whoa good video. WTF Ryu can chain 2 crouching MP and even chain into a MK??? I tried it in training mode but it doesn't chain at all! Is it more of a link rather than a chain or does that shit actually chain and I'm doing something wrong somehow?? Gyaaaaaaaaa!!! *HITS TRAINING MODE*

  • So pro.

  • sick man ... damn !

  • sick combos!! some really awesome stuff in here

  • yo i love this video it gives you some good ass ideas at first i was about to lay down sf 4 for awhile but thinks to this video im back to the drawing board ^-^

  • that is why they called him master gouken -_-

  • I'm just looking forward to volume 2 whenever it comes out. Otherwise, keep the videos pimped as usual.

  • Just so the people saying its useless knows..its an EXHIBITION. Its just to show you what is possible. Its been stated as such multiple times already.

The Cammy Air spiral combo. for some reason i cant get the last non ex air spiral to come out. everything else is easy. i got the timing down. So fun to whip out and make people go WTF.

  • The worst thing about these kids though, is the fact that if we DID bring out a "reliable/practical" video showcasing what is fairly easy to do and gives good damage - they'd just piss and moan because it's easy and boring. So in the end I'd rather have them bitch that these combos are "useless" than to see CAPSLOCK spam about standard/advanced bread and butter combos being "easy".

  • :'( i play as cammy and fail to do n e thing that flashy, its a shame the moves get weaker as you do mass, like the last gouken one should hv killlllled but did less than half

    love to c more!

  • most of these combos are useless in real play

  • basically

watch any decent level competition, this is useless lol

  • waiting for Vol. 2

  • 2:13 is freaking epic.

  • these combos are great and all but mostly are for show, damage wise they are ineffecient, 3ex bars to do maybe 200 points of damage with a 6 hit combo... thats 3 hpunches already or a good two hit combo with a kick to a technique is already 250+ points of damage.... I wish they would patch that damage scale and let combos really be worth something

  • Still it shows difrent possibiltys. Parts of all these combo's should be used in a real match. And i will go as far to say ever attack done in this combo vid can and should be done in a real match. You just gota find the strongets version given the situation.

  • also gouken combo at 1:28 is totally worth doing. Not the last gouken combo, instead of wasting his utra he should have done his spin kick for more hits and damage. In the last gouken combo only one bar is wasted and one ultra, thats worth it to me. well like i said i tested and i wouldnt use the ultra:)

  • oops in last combo 3 bars and a ultra are used but still worth it if you only use the 3 bars. Sorry for millions of replys:)

  • I'm actually glad the damage scaling is the way it is. Think about it, a LOT of these combos, while being hard to do are completely feasible - and without the massive damage scaling you'd be seeing countless 75-100% combos on a regular occasion.

That in and of itself would change the entire way SF4 would be played, and would force people to rely on the FIRST mistake/opening they get to win a round/match with a combo (much akin to landing infinites in MvC2).

  • I'd rather be killed by a great combo that takes skill then some Ken noob spamming his roundhouse kick on the floor...........

  • It reflects much worse on you than it does on this theoretical Ken player that you can't figure out how to beat a guy who just sweeps over and over again.

  • Best sf4 combo video to date. I actully posted that same comment on this vid uploaded by some one else but i thought i would tell the creator. Your taking these combo's above and beyond of what poeple think the current limits are. GREAT STUFF. my gouken went form a 7 to a 10 in seconds ahhahahaa

  • Crazy. fast fingers.

  • were's balrog ?

too hard for them i guess

  • There are people out there far more competent with the rest of the cast, so we wouldn't dare to try and impede on what they're doing.

read: If I can't even begin to develop combos close to what people are putting out already with certain characters, then there's no need to display said characters in a video as it will only cheapen the experience AND it will make us look as if we're biting off of other people's skillsets.

  • now thats a good answer

im just a fan of rog

and wanted to see some crazy shit from you guys

  • NO GUILE! this is deff. not complete!

    liked it anyway :P

  • Once again I have to state that after Sean Gilley released his Guile video a full month before the console release - there was ZERO reason for us to ever touch that character. EVER. Gilley completely owned that character (and has been doing so for well over a decade)

  • It's to bad that you could almost never use these, you never have full super meter and ultra :(

  • This was made with an arcade stick or d-pad?

    Insane combos

  • All were performed on stick, but some were initially developed on pad before they were sent to me (as is stated in this video, it's a group effort) for either straight recording or the evolving process.

  • if the super gauge is set to refill , instead of inifinite , it d be a bit better. nevertheless, good stuff here

btw, i reckon i developed a 11hits balrog(claw) combo, which is not even in japanese wiki. care to quote this in your vid? not to boast myself....just wanna promote this character.

check my youtube page if see fit.

  • can't you all just enjoy how nice the combos look, you can learn a lot of tricks in linking by watching this awesome video. Props to the guys that made this, never thought some of those linkings were possible...

  • All of these "are true" and it has been discussed many times herein. Learn to count the usage of the EX meter before replying, thanks.

  • the series hasnt finished? where is balrgo (claw) and others?

try my 11hits claw combo, too

  • Why don't long combos do a lot of damage anymore? Wasn't like that in sf2...

    btw, Sick ass combos

  • No Rose combos? ;_;

  • These combos are so pointless.

  • how is that

  • The only reason he did this, is for the combo count. But street fighter 4 has a combo dmg reducer. Basically the higher the combo the less damage it will be, as proven in the video. I can do a simple Jump in Hard Punch,Med Kick,Ex Tetsu, into ultra and have higher damage output then his amazing ryu cmbos. Same with any other character

  • yeah, but it looks cool as fcuk. Props to Mrwhitefolks

  • Negative. This was not for "the combo count" as much as it was an attempt to see how far we could push the engine outside of bread and butter combos. While some combos result in a high hit count - others are just as amazing and do far less overall hits.

Incidentally, EVERYONE knows about the high damage scaling in SF4, and that was of little concern to us (which was already stated on the FIRST PAGE of discussion).

    *please* *read* *before* *you* *post*

  • I'm not ganna troll back to the first page. You might wanna put that information in your details. Like i said the combos are amazing just pointless.

  • LOL

  • Long combos help. Why do two or three large chunks of dmg when you can do two or three large chunks PLUS an additional more dmg? At the end the dmg adds up, no matter how small. It also leaves your opponent in confusion and gives yourself time to think ahead. It gives a mental advantage too, believe it or not.

  • The fact that the BGM in this video was made (or at least released) by Capcom is pretty sick...

...and the damage scaling in this game is INSANE.

  • I think it's sad that people continuously need ourselves (or other viewers for that matter) to explain to them that EVERY single combo in this video follows the standard 4 EX meters rule structure.

From here on out if you don't watch the video and count out the usage of the EX bar before posting about infinite meter, we're just going to remove your comments. This is getting ridiculous.

  • well the gouken one ine the end is infact using 5 bars of the ex meter

  • *shakes head*

    J.FP, FP, QCF+FP, D.FP, QCF+FP, FADC (2 EX BARS), D.FP, DPM+2P (1 EX BAR), QCF+WP, QCF+2P (1 EX BAR), ULTRA

Two, plus one is three, plus one is four.

  • yeah i sowy... i countetone to much becuase there is apperently a small afterblink on the 3rd one which i counted in as well.... ill go hang my head in shame now :)

  • here's what i saw in regards to bar usage on that combo:

    FADC from Fierce fireball (2)

    EX DP (1)

    EX Fireball (1)

looks like 4 bars to me

Also to those talking about that flash at 2:51, please notice that he didn't dash forwards afterwards NOR did he go into gouken's Focus Attack animation, so that part of the video itself isn't a FADC.

  • Amazing!

  • alot of these combos wont work without infinite super charge bar....attack canceling with focus takes 2 bars thats alot so many of those conbos dont work though i must say it is very good nonetheless an yes requires alot of focus great job

  • Name one combo in here that uses more than the maximum aount of super charge.

  • so even if i tried and practiced 4 a week

i couldnt even pull off a 5 hit combo

    nonetheless these combos

  • Great stuff guys. Wish my execution was as on point as yours

  • JESUS CHRIST!!!! enough said 5/5

  • Holy fuck! Those were some sick combos I'd never even imagine was possible. Good job!

  • c) in SF4, the more links you pull off, the less damage you will do. if you pulled off a huge link and then went into Ultra, the Ultra wouldnt do much damage as say, one hit then stright into ultra.

    d) C.Viper is lame. A few people may have seen her against some noobs, or even beat down maybe a good player, possible fluke. But she isnt that good at all.

    e) great vid. love the soundtrack. make some more with different soundtracks!!

  • Unless in Japan, then she's rated S tier right behind Sagat :looney:

Then again their tier lists are pure results, no theory.

  • Do you even understand why C. Viper is considered to be pretty good?

Ultra connected anywhere on the screen (standing FP QCF, TKM + 3p)

She does a good amount of stun

pressure and mind games with the fake knuckles

her only really bad match ups are against honda and geif (and imo bison).

The problem with C. Viper is, to be good with her you have to BE good period. She is very hard character to learn.

  • a few things....

    a) some of these moves can be countered. you are not lumbered to wait for this to finish

    b) the reason the other player doesnt do anything is because this is just a showcase of linkable combos. thats a combo vid.

  • SICK, SICK video.

  • Did not even know these combos existed...fuck me sideways man, great job.

  • Once I saw the gameplay I kinda put these combos together in my head. Not the exactly the same way he did. But I knew for certain that these kinda combos can be pulled off. However though people better watch out...the new person you need to be worried about is C. Viper. Everybody's gonna be usin' her especially in the tournaments she's gonna one man's pleasure and another man's pain. Watch what I tell 'ya.
