  • very clumzy 83 people missed the like button ;)

  • Never liked Satch...

  • @LuXguitaR why?

  • wow , i make the 100th vote ! :D 5 starst for that beautiful live !! That bass solo was really "cool#9" :D

  • awesome bass solo :D

the sick thing is- its satch's show- but he lets the other players have their shining moments too. thats cool man.

  • I was there in Toronto. When the bass breaks into the solo, the whole crowd started cheering his name during and then on afterwards.

  • Absolutely awesome!! Joe never ceases to amaze me!

  • Best Solo ever 1978 la villa strangiato by Alex Lifeson

  • i can hear some srv in some of his blues playing

  • a very big style ..this song COOL ??

  • if only u had this in good quality

  • This is great playing. 5 stars in fact. The blues... a little bit. If you REALLY want to hear the blues, check out Satch with Leslie West.

"Satriani & West LAST SHOW" and

"Joe Satriani & Leslie West - Blues Jam"

    THIS IS THE BLUES.

  • joe satriani is not the first album dude, not of this earth is, bevore he recorded some shit but that isn't brought out.

  • more like jazz.... no blues here...

  • Why does it have to be either/or?? Why not AND? it's got a definite blues feel to it. Satch likes flavoring his blues with other styles too, and vice versa.

It doesn't have to be a black and white world. And Satch is....well, Satch. As always.

  • This sounds quite jazzy.

  • i love the blues of satriani, remember the first satriani album call : "joe satriani" it's more blues

  • hmmmm, methinks title change is in order. 2 many ppl complainin bout it! XP

  • do you remember ur seat section?

  • yes, i think too... joe rules, but in blues? uhmmm ...I prefer Buddy Guy for example (he has most passion & feeling)

  • But overall, he's the BEST that there ever was

  • Dude if you can't feel the soul in this song, you must be made of stone.

  • this is sick!

  • Hey thanks for posting this. This has to be one of the coolest bits I've seen in a quite a while. Great improvisations, cool vibe. Wish I was there.

  • u r the best satch! I'm always gonna be listening u!

  • i went to the one in boston it was fuckin awsome

  • second that

  • omfg when will this come out on dvd?!!

  • 3:21- sounds like someone just creamed haha can you blame them this is sick!

  • omg youre right... i think i did too when i saw this

  • rofl...Yeahhhhhhh.

  • Wow...That´s just sick!!!! amazing!!

  • So bad quality ... but so awesome ^^

  • 5:15=sick!

  • The bassist is Dave LaRue.

  • as in the bassist from the steve morse band?

  • Steve Morse band is Deep Purple right now, and the bassist is Roger Glover

  • actually, the steve morse band is the name of one of his other bands, he is in deep purple, dixie dregs (maybe), and the steve morse band.

  • no non è mark bisonette

  • Is still Matt B? I can't tell.

  • OOOOOOHHHHHHHH much respect for giving the bass a go at the light and plus the crowd loved it lol!!!!

and might i ad he was ripin as well!!!

but joe was going well and on the spot that was awsome he was goin off!!!!

  • i went to g307, best thing ever!!!!

  • Spectacular. MAJOR respect to Satch for giving his bass player the well-deserved spotlight. I think this is Joe's best touring band ever.

  • Are you still at it, give it up and stop spamming that shit.

  • it was on april 12th if my memory is good...

  • damn when was this,,,??

    i should've watched it!!

    shit

  • I love this song. And i'm so glad I was there to hear it live.

  • hey i know this is a weird favour but wud u b able to scan and email a copy of your ticket to me coz i came all d way from ireland for this gig n den lost my ticket it wud mean a lot to me

  • when i saw it few weeks ago, i was surprised by the end of the song

  • The name of this song is called Cool #9. It just has a really long improv intro

  • thanks. i should have cut it in two parts, maybe...

  • No way. The recording version is so-so. It's what satch does with Cool #9 live that makes it so incredibly sick.

  • yea have to agree~especially in the Satriani Live!! dvd/cd~all the live stuff sounds so different and so good :D

  • satch's the soulsick freakin' master
