  • I'm gonna do this, this weekend.

  • i want to try the paint swirling. but im not exactly sure how. i have a 32 gallon trash can. filled it with 25 gallons of water. and added about 2 and a half cups of borax. what paint did you use? i have a bunch of this stuff - FolkArt Acrylic Colors Paint. will it work?

  • @travisriddle3t8 I'm pretty sure you need enamel not acrylic. Just my 2 cents but I'm not completely sure.

  • What degrees is the water

  • looks like shit but oh well.

  • Fucking sick im thinking about doing my razorback like this

  • Yaaaaaaaaa!

  • how the hell did you do this?

  • very cool!!

  • if you pause at 2:40...the red design kinda looks like GOSSAMER smiling

  • @xxPSYCHOSLUTxx I see it

  • thank you so much. : )

  • Along with what kind of paint (brand) , what do you have in your water and is your water a certain temperature?

  • @tolerbearALTII Rustoleon engine enamels, 1.5 Tablespoons Borax/Gal, water at 80 degrees F

  • Hey, what kind of paint did you use?

  • Ya it would

  • I wanna know how you did it and if it would work with only one color

  • wow! it looks like a nine year old retarted kid's artwork.

  • ok i want to do this but how whats the best paint how do i get it to shine afterwards and any other advice thanks

  • @CalebH50 I used acrylic automotive paint. High Gloss. Then used an enamel clear coat. Gave it about 3 coats to get it to shine.

  • think u cud do this w/ an acoustic if u pluggd the hole? lol

  • A think that you have too much oil in paint

  • can you do a tutorial please, i cant find one anywhere

  • very abstract i like it

  • hahahahaaaha men you`ve crapped that guitar !

    hahahahaah

  • pretty nice!!!! trippy colors ahaha but i don't see them on a warlock :\ cool as hell though

  • great job, I would love to do that to a guitar, but would be scared that i would screw it up.

    Any advice? rik@ruderikdesigns.ca

  • @Nugmania1 the plus side to this project was that this is a guitar that i paid $90 for. so i wouldnt be heartbroken if i messed it up. I would dare try it on one of my newer guitars until i started with this one. but now im confident enough to give it another go.

  • Wow! but.. that colours sucks

  • @PostCrusifixion thank...you? my original plan was to use only red and blue and black. but they didnt like eachother as you can see in the video...thats why i used all three. i plan on starting another project soon so look for my vid in the next few weeks.

  • @MAV4Soul haha okey! i'll check it! :D

  • @MAV4Soul the colors are cool

  • wow you used a lot of paint! Does the guitar feel quite textured now?

  • @bluepaisley83 Not at all since I clear coated it after it dried

  • @bluepaisley83 I had to use more paint then other videos. Thats because Instead of using enamel paint I used Automotive spray paint and collected it from the can into individual containers. I had to use alot because spray paint is ALOT thinner than model paint and if you dont use enough then all the paint runs off the guitar as soon as you pull it.

At first the guitar had a beautiful glossy texture but then i went to clear coat it and the clear coat "ate" some of the paint...so dont do that lol

  • @MAV4Soul shit that happened to me after I did my guitar! I used enamel paint and clear coated with nitrocellulose and it melted the paint! Took a lot of trial and error to discover that polyurethane clear gloss is what you need for clear coating :)

  • yellow likes to be undercoated with white

but it looks cool this way too
