Lol at all the jealous, nostalgically challenged mental midgets who have something bad to say about this band!! The old GNR where essentially Axl and Izzy surrounded by a bunch of mediocre musicians, who were able to raise their levels temporarily by leaching off of Axl's and Izzy's brilliance. How true this is, is underlined by the über generic shit people like Slash made post GNR. At least the new members are all accomplished musicians who already have musical significance outside of GNR...

Dude, you know, when one person, who's ego is just incredibly huge decides who's gonna be in a band, and decides pretty much everything else, and musicians are in the band for about 2 months is usually called a solo band...This isn't Guns N' Roses, this is Axl Rose Solo Band...You can't have a functional band if you keep changing the musicians, and Chinese Democracy is just a proof of that. It has it's moments, but mostly it's just not going anywhere

KICKASS. To be honest. I mean i agree with a lot of people, Guns N' Roses was better with the original line up. But when all former band mates left, do you guys have any IDEA, how long and how much effort it took for Axl to replace the band mates with other guitarists. Axl does pretty well in this one! Im glad to hear him sing like that i'd say 8/10 compared to his early days... Axl still kick ass... but this bounch of wanna be kids with him are not so good...

I think I have figured it out about Axl's live performances now. This is the first song they did from the Rock AM show. He sounded really good on this one. But as the night went on his voice and performances got alot worse. I think maybe he can't handle the long stress of song after song anymore. But that also means that in the studio he should be fine.
