Minautor,Mirko, Shogun on debut, Fedor in Strikeforce fights 3 out of 4 I can keep going on-. A lot of those guys are used to the ring/rules, the japanese crowds are quieter and more respectful because theyre used to subs (meaning theyre actually there to watch the fight) and possibly what @JRBreason said about flashy fighters .

Ima be honest I never heard of this dude Mousasi before today, I was on Sherdog and saw some dudes talking about how he would beat Anderson Silva. Ive been watching his fights for about an hour now and im pretty impressed with him. I dont think he would beat Anderson or really even pose a threat to him, but he would deffinatly be a strong contender in the UFC. Mousasi is one of my favourite fighters, but I think he needs to stop hiding in japan and fight in the west against actual legit opponents. He's the Dream LHW champ but what does that mean to anyone??

Good example is Lyoto Machida. A lot of guys have a problem with his style but Shogun who hasn't had much success against submission fighters and wrestlers did great against Machida. I think a lot of that is the type of fighters being faced not being very compatible and just luck. Randy took Sylvia to decision and Fedor, Mir and Fedor have all submitted Sylvia. If you look at Sylvia's fight record he use to get punched out a lot then it became submissions. Randy is more of a ground and pound guy and Sylvia was able to deal with that. It looks like Sylvia has problem with submission guys.

You do know that Strikeforce is shown on Showtime and CBS (Free). Most people don't purchase Showtime for Strikeforce so in essence their shows are Free. The UFC on the other hand has stuck to PPV and therfore needs to protect their investment. It Strikeforce could get people to buy there product they would. I do enjoy most of the Strikeforce cards but thier divisons are weak in comparison to the UFC. I would like to see Mousasi in the UFC to see him fight top flight competition.
