Growing up I used to always make up my own words to the tune of this song, the way Eric Idle sings it is pure genius, it's just addictive.

@sponsoredwalk1 yeah so did i. Well not make up my own words for it but I did try and guess some of the words because I did watch the show when I was quite young. For example for the opening music i thought it said "Clapped out run down to all the same One Foot in the Grave." I still enjoyed the show even though I didn't understand many of the funny lines!
