Not all, but a lot of what was propsed is doable. So long as the GOP stops trying so hard to see Obama fail, and starts working with him. They are more interested in his failure, and obstructing his ideas than thye are in seeing America suceed. If Ron Paul is not the candidate to run against Obama, I'll either sit out the election, or may possibly even vote for his re-election. Yeah - I said it. I'm still shocked too.

When it comes to the military, the cost of living allowance for retirees had been frozen for nearly three years; proposals had been made in Congress to reduce certain programs such as tuition assistance. The energy independence issue has been a problem since Gerald Ford was in office, and the Arabs blocked our supply then. Less talk and real action is what we need in that area.
So what if the enemies of our country watch the President's speech and admission of a timetable for withdrawel. Our mission in Afghanistan has been accomplished. Osama bin Laden is dead, Al Quaeda is shattered, and the Taliban know we'll kick thier arse if they ever aide terrorists again. Time for us to get the heck out of there and let them deal with thier own problems. Put our troops on our southern borders, and the influx of illegals will stanch.
He didn't "shut down the Keystone pipeline". What he did do was to DENY any new permit BEFORE February 21st. Which is the unrealistic 60-day deadline his political opponents, the Republicans imposed upon him in December 2011. It is disingenous to the truth to use the administration's decision as a talking point. Under current law, it cannot accelerate the permitting process, especially in light of the need for additional environmental reviews of a new path for the pipeline through Nebraska.
