I hope they paint her in the Southern colors like this when they get her ready, not too much longer, we'll see something this year for sure, then 4501 for her 100th birthday in 2011!!

I was in 4th grade and my parents were going to take me on this trip but my school said it would count against me in absences. I remember that very clearly 26 years later. I still live in hattiesburg and can tell you that NS would throw a duck fit if people were just loitering around the yard like that today.

At the 4:30 mark is a very brief shot of a SOUTHERN Baggage car and Bon Homie and Hattiesburg Southern Mikado #300, which belong to the Mississippi Great Southern Chapter of the NRHS.

I <3 4501!!! We got to take her to Chattanooga back in 1992 and I still remember the trip like it was yesterday. Videos of 4501 are far and few between, so thanks for posting this!! Truly priceless :D
