Were the Clara Ward Specials before or after the Orginal Ward Singers?

They came after the Ward Singers. Mrs. Gertrude Ward organized the Clara Ward Specials in the early 1950s.
Clara at her best. Perfect phrasing, perfect moaning, perfect control. Raymond Rasberry's work on piano relieved her of her usual task, freeing her to concentrate on singing brilliantly. She's also in perfect voice. MASTERPIECE!

Wonderful singing by the C.W Specials, it was said they could out sing the Clara Ward Singers at programs! Very anointed and powerful group!
