I couldn't give a toss if he killed his family - I didn't know them. As a wrestling fan, I simply enjoy the dozens of classic matches he gave us and marvel at his ability in the ring. Benoit was a 2-time World champ (and held countless titles overall), had amazing matches with some of the all time greats and left his mark on the sport. His legacy can never be erased, despite the best efforts of WWE and his detractors.
No more excuses for him please! The guy no longer deserves respect, does not deserve pity and definately does not deserve forgiveness! It kills (no pun intended) that people wanna keep on about how they just wanna remember Benoit as a great wrestler, and forget what he did in his final days. What he did to his family and in his everyday life means so much more than ANYTHING he ever did in the ring. Wake the fuck up.

I miss him a lot. Any other wrestler guy could get into such an ugly state of mind and spirit. We have no right to judge him too hard. And it doesn't take away everything Chris made for our entertaiment.

It was a really bad thing what he did to his family but he had an excuse and I'm sure no matter what his motive was we can accept it. Only a timewaster wouldn't have a back up plan. Chris would hate to be separated from Eddie and all his friends in heaven. I loved Chris Benoit, even after what he did, I am still proud of what he gave to the business and to us fans. God bless you Benoit always.

I couldn't give a toss if he killed his family - I didn't know them. As a wrestling fan, I simply enjoy the dozens of classic matches he gave us and marvel at his ability in the ring. Benoit was a 2-time World champ (and held countless titles overall), had amazing matches with some of the all time greats and left his mark on the sport. His legacy can never be erased, despite the best efforts of WWE and his detractors.
