@leetann all true. however, when it came to the big game a true freshman quarterback almost took them down. also if colt didn't get speared (penalty not called btw) he would have torn bama apart, showed that he deserved the heisman, and shown that bama is nothing but a decent team that got lucky too many times this season.

@PooPoo2U now here's the problem with what you're saying. when mack has the game won, he takes out his starters. he's about winning the game, not scoring another touchdown when he could kneel it out and win the national championship (*cough* saban *cough*) so don't even attempt to say texas runs up scores on people. how can you say texas didn't almost take it. bama was not able to stop texas once shipley started working and gilbert got into a rhythm. it took a sack fumble to seal it for bama.

@auburnsks Actually, I thought the same thing you did until i actually did my homework. 1 of the 5 was a tie with a team they had a worse record than, and then they lost their bowl game on top of that. The other four were awarded retroactively by INDIVIDUALS, not committees or groups, who came up with their own polling system and own formulas, and awarded then YEARS after the said "Championship." Please, do YOUR homework before you talk back.

@Kyle1084 actually after that NC, and Auburn taking this years, they wont get any better, and theyll consistently have seasons like the 2010 season. And Saban has never sustained a program. Hes always built it up, very well however, and then left. Like he did with LSU.
