  • There is a really good 60 minutes story on nutra sweet here on youtube.

  • I don't use nor do I believe in artificial sweeteners but I not sure I can trust info given to me from someone trying to sell a book. I really hate defending this but not all Splenda products contain sugar. From what I can see only the Splenda designed for cooking contains sugar.

  • I agree. Any chemical thats strong enough to stimulate your taste buds to produce taste will be strong enough to have other affects on your cells in your body.  It's just common sense.

    Aspartame completely tires me out. I thought I had mononucleosis until I stopped using it.

  • i been eating from four basic food groups,grilled chicken tuna fish for protein, for carbs baked pototatoes, rice, fruits, vegetelbes, omega 3 fat nautal peanutbutter or any type of fish. i been eating good and i lift weights for 1 hour a day and im trynna bulk up

    so i bought shakes and THERE SO NASTY BECAUSE THERE FILLED WITH SURCLOSE AND ARTIFICIAL FLAVORS, WHAT SHOULD I DO, MY SUPPLEMENT IS CALLED MASS XXX CARBS-PROTEIN WEIGHT GAINER

  • Learn how to cook meat. It's high in protein. Get a cook book and learn how to cook a pot roast. With gravy, it's the best meal ever and great for bodybuilders.

  • lemon peper chicken /w roasemarry takes 5 min to prepare and 30 to cook. Add some steamed vegies and white rice ( i usualy add red peper to the rice for extra kick while boiling.)

    Only thing I pan is sauteing ground turkey with extra virgin olive oil. I never use canola or penut. Olive oil had little to no taste so it adds nothing.

  • im like you man, im trying to find supplements that doesnt contain sucralose and aspartame but its very difficult.

  • THANK YOU A MILLION TIMES OVER for posting this...I just started a low-carb diet a week ago, and while the diet itself is working for me, obviously I can't eat simple sugars, so I was LOADING up on the Splenda....after seeing this video I threw away EVERY item in my kitchen containing it. Thanks again!!

  • I agree with Dr. Pearsall 1000%! But simple sugar now is a big problem since it has gone GMO in America! They even took that away from us!!!

    Best choice for sweeteners is local farm or organic honey or organic sugar. Honey (raw with pollen and propolis is best) is very, very healthy. Funny how there isn't one dessert product on the mass market made with honey.

  • @drpearsall Hello, thank you for the info, i use 1 packet of Splenda a day with my coffee, do you think that small quantity is harmful ?

  • Watch Sweet Misery here on Youtube. Aspartame is the work of the devil. It's beyond belief that people who know how bad it is can profit from the misery it causes.

    what do you think about using natural organic fructose as a lower GI alternative to sugar. because thats what i have been using for a while, when kinesiology tests showed i was having pretty bad reactions to sucrose.

  • Aspartame does a WONDERFUL job killing ants. It only takes a min. of 15 packets per gallon of water to wipe out Pharoah ants (tiny ones). BTW good advice LOL!

  • Yes. Good Info. Well presented; script, voice, melody, speed etc.

    I am on the starting-point of a crusade against Aspartame...and a PR tour for "the real deal". You know; (organic) raw sugar...fruit...high quality honey. You know!

  • The best thing to do to try and avoid of eating all this crap is to become an organic vegetarian.

  • you can avoid all this crap without becoming an organic vegetarian. it's not hard. it's pretty easy actually.

  • Buy unprocessed fresh whole food.

    Don't get processed food like chips, cookies, artificial sweetener, all soft drinks, juices, biscuits, junk food like KFC McD Wendy TacoBell etc.

    That will do.

    Or if just want to be relatively safe, dont consume too much of anything. consume just occasionally.

  • So true. I try to avoid artificial sweetners but they're in everything!...it makes the product taste like crap too. A perfectly delicious chocolate chip cookie is destryoed by artificial sweetners.
