A friend of mine broke two in one week awhile ago from rage fits while playing COD. one of em looked a lot like that in the sense of how it broke when he slammed it on the ground

Get a torx t8 or t9 tool open your remote and Put the thumbstick back in place or it way be splited so you may have to get new ones

mine has a problem where every time i walk forward in a game the character just walks very slowly and i have to press it in order for them to walk regularly. And in cod everytime i sprint, the character runs for a sec then stops immediatly. please somebody help

anyways,.. there are a number of things to try but you have to open your controller and see what the problem is inside, if the stick that links the mechanism to the actual thumbsticks is broken then a toothpick should be able to fix it otherwise the spring might have broke or the retention brackets that keep it centered... there are a lotta vids showing how to fix most of the problems

I had a controller and the left stick would just glide forward without being touched, I popped the case, removed trigger mechanism, remove joystick mechanism, and replaced the plastic part supporting the spring inside the joystick housing with one from a ps2 controller and it works great now, i also pulled the spring inside a little bit for a little stiffer stick and resoldered everything back together and works 100% now, wish I knew how to do all that before I thru my last controller away.....
