  • ah, love you too! Well Blackburn "with" Darwen are apparently no longer part of Lancashire since they are unitary so, it's our station now!

  • But BBC Radio Lancashire serves the whole country from 2xMW outlets one at Riley Green near Preston 500kW erp 855kHz/351m and another at Oxcliffe Lancaster 250kW erp 1557kHz/193m plus 95.5Mhz FM Stereo from Hameldon Hill Burnley 103.9Mhz FM Stereo from Winter Hill Bolton and 104.5Mhz FM Stereo from Lancaster;it would be wrong to cut this off and merely serve Blackburn and North East Lancs only on MW855 and FM95.5(then 96.4Mhz) only as it did with BBC Radio Blackburn in the 70's.
