  • Now every time I hear this song I think of getting stuck on this song in the Winnie the Pooh ride at Disney World. It was crazy and kind of spooky, but it was so much fun to watch before going into the rain storm segment!!

  • why did every one get scared when they listend to this song and watched it? i loved this song when i was little

  • I think its about rebulicans....so cant spell >.>

  • is this about black people ????

  • This scared the shit out of me when I was a kid.

  • if i was pooh i would of gone all gansta on them n!#%^ give me back my $%%^%&honey#$%^&

  • maaan if iwas pooh i would goall gangsta on them woozles and heffalumps like give me back my honey son naww i wouldnt i would be just as scared

  • this shit scared the fuck out of me when i was high but i couldnt stop laughing at the same time

  • yes! @ 1:18

  • 2:14 are soo cute! <3<3

  • @SwedishFroglet Yeah!:)))

  • I think this was fairly disturbing to me as a kid, but didn't "scare" me really.

  • i hated this part of the movie so much when i was little it creeeped me out

  • Uh okay, who swapped the Honey for LSD

  • LOL, exactly.

  • This is what you see when you eat too much honey.

  • Pink Heffalumps on parade.

  • wow. what a flashback.

like i don't even have words to be frank.

  • This sounds like Nazi propaganda.

  • part of a muse song off the resistance reminds me of this great big acid trip.

  • I'm gonna cry... this clip was a childhood trauma for me.

  • @Pectiniculus The best one, though.

  • same it realli freaked me out

  • ...I just had to watch this three times because it's so weird. I don't remember it being this...uh, stonerey in 1990. This whole thing used to freak me out when I was a kid. I understand why now.

  • Since it's from 1968, it's tempting to say that the animators were on drugs, but since they were a bunch of fifty-and-sixty-somethings by then, that's rather improbable. XD

  • dude best movie to watch stoned

  • This sequence amazes me. It's pretty good considering Disney created it and it wasn't in any of the books. It's just like the G-rated shock value movement I made a video to promote.

  • i used to love this as a kid, so glad i found it again!

  • which movie is this from?

  • The Rhino Executioner from Robin Hood was more scary!

  • Love this movie.

Best song in it by far!

  • who sang this song?

  • The MelloMen.

  • If Disney plans to make a new Fantasmic for Paris or Tokyo they should use this scene.

  • This scene was always scary to me even though this was my favorite movie on LASER DISC LOL. Dang looks like Pooh had some honey with LSD in it he is trippin hard.

  • No way. I heard LSD's hallucinations are lame. They can't compete with this.

  • I LOVED this song when I was a kid! (I still am one!) lol

  • This scared the living fuck out me when I was little, but that beat is just so catchy.

  • @ChuckRage72 iknow thats right i was freaking out for months

  • big lipped alligator moment!

  • I was going to type the same thing but I didn't think anyone else would get the reference. That is exactly what this scene is.

    BIG LIPPED ALLIGATOR MOMENT!

  • 1:53 - 2:01 reminds me of the scene from Dumbo where Dumbo gets drunk and sees the elephants and there are two elephants dancing on ice/water.

  • yeah thats what i thought too!!

  • the song even sounds similar (sort of)

  • Most of the "sweet" Disney movies have disturbing sequences in them. Pinocchio has the Paradise, Dumbo has the aforementioned pink elephants sequence, Kaa's song in the Jungle Book, Beauty and the Beast has the insane asylum, and The Lion King has a traumatized kid for life when his father dies.

I think the screenwriters were fed up with having to tell a child's story and put this in for dark humor.

That said, I love the elephant cannon.

  • true say i agree, too bad that whole dark element isnt the same in disney movies anymore. its more about humour alone these days

  • no they aren't! "Humor" implies that they are actually funny.

  • sorry, you missed my point. And for the record..it's spelled "Humour"-you quoted me wrong....the American's didn't invent English

  • I don't think I missed the point. Disney doesn't have any dark or in depth plots anymore. It is all just watered down for small children. I was just saying that the movies they make to be funny are usually stupid and have no entertainment value. You simply misunderstood me.

  • aah...my apologies comrade-I see where you're going and agree wholeheartedly

    --peace

  • I understand

  • @Akito1006 PINK ELEPHANTS ON PARADE!!!!!! :D :)

  • @Akito1006 your silly

  • @Akito1006 .. Now you mention it, yes it does remind me of 'Pink Elephants on Parade'... Both of these tunes used to scare me when i was very little, now I just LOVE 'EM...

Mind you I am more than a few decades older... hee hee, nearing my half century very soon *gulp*

My very best regards from Wales UK ... :0)x

  • This song scared me so bad when I was little

  • Boy, did Pooh ever get a hold of some bad hunney.

  • 1:17 lol!

  • Don't watch this high it's scary!!!!

  • It is amazing how people could overlook this as not being a metaphor for so many different drugs. This probably would not be approved today.

  • what's this film/episode called?

  • Winnie the Pooh and the Blustery Day

  • thnx

  • Am I the only one that finds this song really catchy?

  • No.

  • pooh must have been high when he had this dream

  • This scared me so much when I was little. Does anyone know if Dumbo came before or after this? One of the parts in "Pink Elephants on Parade" is the EXACT same as a part in this.

  • Dumbo came out in 1941 and this was the second part of the Many advertures of Winnie The Pooh; Winnie the Pooh and the Blustery Day which came out in 1968.

  • i was so scared of that when i was little... and now looking at the comments i am glad i wasnt the only one!!

brings back so many memories xx

  • those things always scared me...

  • BIG-LIPPED ALLIGATOR MOMENT!

  • i love it, memories.

scared the shit outta me. even at magic kingdom in fla.

    that was years ago.

  • Wow... brings back sooooo many memories=)

  • omfg i fucking love this song =)

    xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxxo

  • Wow. Haven't seen this in a while...

  • I guess Disney was right about obama and biden. Beware,Beware.

  • where is the rest of this film ive been looknig for it foreverrrr

  • This is what made me a raver. HEHEHE NEO HIPPIE

  • this always scared the shit out of me as a kid XD

  • Woahh. I remembered this from when I was a little kid, but I couldn't, for the life of me, remember where it was from.

I thought I'd just had a really trippy dream XD

But then I went to Disneyland, went on the Winnie the Pooh ride, and as soon as it got to the Heffalump room, I was like "YES! I KNEW IT WASN'T A DREAM!"

Ohh Pooh. I love you :D

  • must have been something exstra added to the hunny lol!!!

  • i loved pooh when i was little, still do. this always tripped me out when i watched it.

  • aww poor pooh bear :C tigger scared the be-jesus outa him with all the heffalumps and woozle stuff. i feel for ya pooh ! !

  • scared the bujesus out of me too when I was small...

  • heck yes, i agree with that 100%

  • kinda like the "pink elephants on parade" from dumbo

  • hes on shrooms or lsd

  • The part that really scares me here is at 1:34. Damn those Jack in the box toy freaks!

  • It reminds me of the PINK ELEPHANTS scene on DUMBO. Also a creepy hallusination with elephantish creatures.

  • this is ma favorite part of the movie!!!!!! pooh is awesome!!!

  • the pooh kicks so much ass!

  • i was so scared when i was 5 of this

  • Heffalumps and woozles...

    Heffa lumps and wooooozles

    stealing honey

    Beware, beware... BEWAAARE!

  • I got through the first 20 seconds and automatically said "What'd he smoke".

I love winnie the pooh. (:

  • I love this song and movie.

They need to make more trippy shit like this in movies. I never thought it was weird when I was little though... I thought "they should make more stuff like this!" Same thing with the Pink Elephants from Dumbo

  • I love this song.

I suspect Tigger might've spiked Pooh's honey with hallucinogens before he left.

  • I used to be scared of this scene but I would replay it over and over. It's pretty cool actually, I love all that nonsense.

    I <3 pooh bear

  • I don't think I ever got scared of this clip when I was a child, don't know why ^_^; But it annoyed me, I felt bad for Pooh who got his "hunny" stolen all the time.

  • For some reason, this doesn't scare me. Probably because I have a personal taste for the whimsical

  • This is soooo trippy! What were those guys on when they wrote this sequence? Cool!

  • i think dreaming......

    of crack

  • AHHHH

I love you for posting this

    <3

  • i feel better knowing i wasn't the only kid this part of the movie scared.

even my mom humming the song used to scare me. omg.

the part at 0:35, where they start to multiply, *shudder*

i'm 22 and i still have nightmares of stuff multiplying like that.

    thanks pooh bear. :P

  • "i'm 22 and i still have nightmares of stuff multiplying like that"

Then I strongly advice thee not to look into psychedelics xd

  • i wonder why this part used to scare everyone? i was scared of it as well but i'm not rele sure why, i think it was mainly the song and creepy tune o_O

  • Man I remember fast forwarding through this part of the movie when I was little.

That part, "They're green they're blue, they're pink, they're white, they're round, they're square, they're a terrible sight, they tie themselves in horrible knots! They come in stripes or polka dots." That gave me nightmares for years.

And the size thing with guzzling what you prize. Along with the laughing hunny pot and the woozles in the boxes.

    SCARY!!

  • pooh+drugs=heffalumps and woozles and weird dreams ^^

  • That rate was on accident, I ment +3

  • when i was a kid i loved to drop acid and then pop this episode into the vcr

  • Except the dropping acid part, because in real life, you are a pussy who wants to either be funny or say that you do drugs to be cool. If you did drugs, which you obviously don't and didn't at any point, you most likely wouldn't brag about it on youtube.

  • Oh my God thats it! Tou are right! Very good analysis of me. Im learning so much more about myself from your post today than I ever have from my psychoanalyst and my experimental drug use combined! I'm glad you care enough to give me heartfelt advice. When ananymous posts call me a pussy it really makes me reflect and think about who I really am. I'd love to hear more of your assumptions and opinions because me and anyone else who might randomly read it is very concerned.

  • Your fat, pudgy fingers hit the "T" instead of the "Y" in the word "you".

  • *gasp!!!* i remember thiiis!!! i used to LOVE this part!!! i think it mightve scared me a little too. probably not.. i just remember this so vividly! :D

  • omfg this si sooooooooo trippy

  • I don't remember what but this scared the hell out of me when I was small. My mom made me watch it when she wanted me to shut my trap for a few hours :@

  • I love Disney's obsession with elephants, hallucinations. Oh yeh, and marching elephants. think about it, Dumbo, The Jungle Book and this all have really weird ,marching elephants. And this one and the one in dumbo are both hallucinations.

But this way is the best because pooh rocks and it's so friggin creepy.

  • Damn, Pooh! Just how much weed did you smoke before going to bed!?

  • Weed? lol more like LSD; there's no doubt where the inspiration for this scene came from lol I mean c'mon made in the 60s? The artists were on a good one =D

  • smoke weed for a week or so then stop for a few days. right before your about to fall asleep you can get this intense of experiences

  • Weed doesn't induce any greater than a level 1 psychedelic experience. You cannot reach this on weed.Maybe you can trip yourself out because of paranoia, but weed does not induce hallucinations to this degree, i.e. objects morphing.

One Tab of LSD, on the other hand, will take you there. If you're referring to an out of body experience, weed cannot take a person there. That requires a level 5 psych experience (high doses of LSD, high doses of peyote and Salvia)

  • LMAO so true! And the 60s too, the possibility could be rather big...

  • Agreed! Anything is possible after the 60s ;-)

  • 1:41 to 2:25 reminds me of Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite.

  • Call Me sadistic but I was never afraid of this scene when I was younger, in fact I loved this part when I was just a little kid I loved the song and enjoyed this part very much, does that make Me a sicko or a psychotic or any kind of crazy person or something?

  • No, just an attention-whore.

  • Maybe that is inspiration for Snoop Doggs´ slang

    Fo shizzle ma nizzle

  • Aint Heffalumps da same az Pink Elephants

Oh w8 there cousins innit ? LOL

  • Is the honey pot at 1:17 laughing or crying?? lol:D

  • When i was younger this was my FAVORITE part in this show.I miss the good old cartoons.I feel bad for the kids these days, with all the crap they have to watch on TV.

  • you are my kind of guy

  • uhh yeah...this is why people shouldnt do drugs cuz they will experience this same thing in real life.

  • I remember being terrified of this when I was, like, 3 :)

  • lol he gets drunk off honey lol.

  • I would say he gets reeeally high of honey.

  • nobody gives a fucking shit you worthless bastar*

  • Yeah and I guess the part where it said "they're in your mouth" would be racist against blacks too. Or at least it would be for you.

  • this was by farrrrrrr my favorite winnie the pooh movies. can't believe i found it!!

  • And I thought clowns were scary! These guys are worse.

  • this scene scared me so much. love it though, just as a little kid it was scary!

  • Oh my damn this was one of my favorite movies as a kid and I used to be scared of the marching band heffalump just the way he marched and walked gave me the creeps .....my friend did not believe me that this song was made.

  • just look at the way the green cork nosed band leader heffalump marches lol...creepy

  • when was this made?!?! i remember watching this when i was a little kid (10 years ago), and even then it was ancient...trippy vid, though 0.o' ^_^

  • This was made in the 1960s or 1970s, not long after Walt Disneys death... One of the last good works (representing the classic work) done by Disney IMO. D:

  • 1968. The first one (Winnie the Pooh and the Honey Tree) was actually the last animated film released by the studio before Walt Disney bit it. It came out in February 1966 and he died in December.

  • Does anyone know where I can find the entire episode this song came from?

  • i should watch this on shrooms crazy

  • i used to love this bit but get scared by it too!! does anybody understand what the hell that laughing honey pot is about wen they take his lid off??? iv never understood that - and even as a 23 yr old, i am still none the wiser!!!

  • i have no idea either.

  • woah thats so weird

    i remember that loads

+ it used to proper scare me!

    ♥

  • I remember this from when I was little. :DD

    So creepy. n 3n

  • I love this song!.

  • omg the eyes of the male heffalump are freaky, they never blink or close 1:44

  • They're closed at 1:45.

  • I always thought that! Those eyes give me nightmares

  • dude now I remember how much that laughing honey pot gave me nightmares.

  • that freaked me out too

  • Heh. This was made at the height of the hippie era (1968), and yet no drugs were used in the making of this sequence. :)

  • Wtf is poo on.......damn druggie..

  • It doesn't take drugs to give you nightmares.

  • When I was little those balloons at the end and the male heffalump's eyes at 1.48 freaked me out.

  • haha, dude this scene is crazy but i love it. how do you think alice and wonderland made it? hint hint

  • Actually, I really don't think Lewis Caroll wasn't on any drugs (read it in Anointed Alice). P: His books don't sound druggy at all. More like child-like wonder.

This clip, however? Druggy. Kinda... LSD-y? The blotting paper on Wikipedia's Pink Elephants on Parade page has colorful shape shifting elephants on it. Hmm?

And this scene used to scare me so much. D: So many parts freaked me out. In fact, just about the whole movie freaked me out when I first saw it years ago It still does a bit.

  • Keatos? XD what are you talking about Lewis Caroll being drunk for...

  • It's a reply. xP

  • WOW! Keatos. Just...no just...no

  • when i was little this song freaked me out so much

  • I always found the accordion-nose-heffalumps (around 2:14) to be the scariest.

  • God the makers of Winnie the Pooh were on SERIOUS ACID! LOL!

  • Well, anyone who was an adult in the 60's were like that I guess.

  • this part scared me when i was 4, i am now 14 and i am still scared!!

  • i think the honey pot's laughing sounds like its on drugs..... O.o

  • Oh my. I remember this so well....

My dad still calls me woozle. D:

  • They're crazy
