There was not even the term Palestinians until the 60's. Arabs live better in Israel with more rights than they do in any other middle eastern country.

Many mizrahim emigrated to israel on their own accord. Some were expulsed from arab lands for secretly supporting the military actions of Israel in the 50's and the 60's. Unfortunately some mizrahim who were not involved were also kicked out.

About your first point. I've studied history as well and I'm not going to argue the legitmacy of Israel. I think they have a right to be there just like anyone, you don't, history will sort it self out and maybe we can agree to disagree. The reality is Israel is there and isn't going anywhere. I think the world is a better place for their existance and unless you believe they should be wiped out (a suggestion made by the Iranian president) there needs to be a mutual peace agreement.
