It is extremely difficult to cut, the method by which manufacturers "cut" a template for a stingray wallet is by MELTING the skin with a metal template!.If your stingray wallet DIDN'T melt, it would be more of an indication that it was fake! Stitching is also done by a super hot needle. Hope you haven't thrown it out :) it is most likely genuine.
