  • Ken can you recommend any good places around edmonton to pan? Cool video and set up too!

  • to seperate the final gold from the sluice, I use a sucker to suck out the top riffles as the gold is almost clean there.

Then I use a small garage sluice to clean the rest. I don't get much gold from the lower riffles so its almost a waste ot time to seperate that out.

  • Love the idea; yet, I don't like the pan. That's the only bit I don't "Love".

I'd pay some good money to see what you'd come up with as a final seperator unit. Custom wave table perhaps? I'd love to see it (o=

  • Very cool!

  • Horrible camera work.

  • @kenp3L

hey man - I'm only doing it to show others how to save money by doing it themselves.

  • Nice work!

  • the pan is from Bedrock supply.

the dolly is from Canadian Tire.

  • Where'd you get the sluice for the bottom part? Missed that in the vid... thanks

  • Nice. Thanks for the post.

  • Princess Auto has a 1.5 inch gas pump and hoses that works excellent. Cost was $150.

The pump only needs to run at 1/2 throttle to supply the right amount of water to the sluice pan.

  • Hi, I am going to attempt to build a very similar unit. I was just hoping you could tell me what size pump I will need? Also what size hoses? Also wondering a rough idea of how much you spent? I am trying to decided if this will save me money making my own after I have to buy everything. Also after using this, would you make any modifications? Thanks so much, maybe we could get your number to chat a little more? Autumn

  • Nice clean job. . I think I will make one. Make sure no oil from pump in sluice
