Yes fake. Not only is there a green halo around the light flare, the traffic lights still have three individual bulbs that display the Green, Yellow and Red colors. The bulb does not change, but the color does.

This can be done, with some intricate knowledge of the traffic light sensors. There are devices available overseas, similar to this "app". However, they need to be reconfigured to work at certain intersections. In NYC, for example, they would not work, because the lights are timed. These devices, iphone or not, are illegal.

Notice no other cars are on the street, and that WAS a red light on the last stoplight, that they DIDN'T show unlocking. The car was sitting at a red light, but they didn't show us how it works there. Also notice the first stoplight, 2 are yellow & the one on the right is green.

nice editing in after effects but not god enough to appear real, light colors are over saturated they pop out of the picture, with that strong lights camera would auto-correct and dim the entire frame, it says fake all over them, on second light car in your direction passes "red light" while other are waiting on "green light"

@Zell127: Actually the editing is done really well. Since the light had just changed to red, the other light wouldn't have time to turn back to green - within that gap they 'changed' the lights back. There aren't any real flaws with this video editing.

Good try but fake. Check out the first light they supposedly changed. To the left, the opposing traffic light is red at the same time their light is red. They obviously had a green light the whole time, then edited the video afterward. Should of edited both lights to make it more convincing, also the pedestrian sign for oncoming traffic was blinking preparing for the don't walk sign. Should have changed that to walk since they are at a stop.
