In order to be called an endangered species the animal in this case the wolves has to be close to entinction. Which is normal less then 1000 worldwide. With 10's of thousands of wolves in NA this is nothing but a fraud. So greedy evil anti hunters can wipe out our big game herd and close hunting down. It steals money it has no right to touch to pull off this idiotic fraud. @BruceH59 It's lunacy. Go to north Canada - trap 2 wolves that are considered vermin and bring them to the U,S. - canada border in cages.Put the cages end to end ,one in the US,one in Canada. Stand in Canada pull a gun, kill the unprotected vermin wolf on the canada side. It is totally legal. Now walk 6 feet into the U.S. side and shoot the other wolf that is now covered by the fictional ESA and get thrown in prison for 5 years and a 100,000.00 fine.

To answer your question of why bring them down to endangered species status you would have to prove that intent......you can't because that isn't the goal. 16 years of fraud have brought them to their current grossly overpopulated status.
