  • I think this may have been in the 80's....if memory serves me correct....Harrier I(AV8-A) was deployed in the early 80's.....followed on by the AV8-B(Harrier II) in 1985....

    about 1980, the Upgrade to the "C" model was ongoing and you are correct about the B model hitting the fleet 1985

  • Cool vid, a little before my days but good to see some oldies on here! For an A model Harrier, that's got to be the smoothest VTOL landing I've ever seen. Thanks for sharing!

  • Its a vertical takeoff that's been reversed on film. You'll never see any Harrier, or an F-35 for that matter, land that smoothly.
