  • hahaha was this movie made in wharton,tx?

  • @punkgirl12894

Yes, it was filmed at Wharton, Columbus, and Lockhart (towns betwen Houston-San Antonio and Victoria--during the hot Texas summer of 1964.Released in January '65. As a very little boy then, I still remember those hot, dry days and the flat ag land across south Texas. Love to know which of these towns the Wagon Wheel Dancing Nitely club is located.

  • my grandma was alive when the movie was made and still is and is in it at the court house she allso is the 1 who wants 2 wach it with her ice cream:)

  • "Baby the Rain Must Fall" aired on TCM August 26, 2010!

I remember when A&E use to air this movie in the 1990's.

I recorded this on my TiVo!

  • Saw this movie i the back of a crowded and smokey with the lights on in the balcony Sutphin theater in Queens, NYC.

One of my first movies my parents let us go to solo, LOL

  • Check out UTube clip JOHN BRANNEN, Never Say Never Again, 2.1 version. My immediate impression when I saw this video, way back on TNN, was that John Brannen reminded me of the young Steve McQueen in Baby, The Rain Must Fall. The same kind of white trash charisma (compliment).

  • The United Artists Theatre and Mission Drive In, those theaters are probably long gone.

  • Rare man, really rare!
