This really is a great tutorial Roger. The notation is very accurate - certainly accurate enough to help us to see those wonderful lines that you are playing, and with the annotations, the thinking that lies behind them. Now, all we have to do is to get Herbie, or perhaps Chick to do something similar!

I haven't commented on one of your videos in a while - although I've told you privately how fine they are. I have to say, Equinox kills it! Your left hand rhythms surprise and compel things forward. The pentatonic runs are fantastic. I think this is perfectly balanced between lyrical melodic lines and rhythmic riffs, between left hand right hand interplay and between latin style/McCoy style and L2L style! Piano sounds really nice as well.
