i first heard this beautiful song beleive it or not, on Imus.as his crew listened they sat there catatonicly,lost or at that place you rarley visit because it takes a gut wretching experience to get there.its truly sad that tragedy inspired this masterpiece.

The album version is clean and, to me, is the best I've heard. Beautiful duet graces the bridge and both Mark and Emmylou sign a Grammy performance as far as I'm concerned. Listen to the album version and you'll see what, to me, is a great pairing of wonderful artists doing a great tribute to those lost in the Twin Towers on 9/11,
