  • ROFL!!!

  • Dude thas my foods and nutrition teacher holy shit she wasn't liying

  • @skatedude063094 , I read somewhere that Martha Swatek got married and became Martha Bradshaw and that she became a teacher.

  • @PungiFungi yep she did thats her name shes my foods and nutriton teacher at lakewood high

  • @skatedude063094 , so I guess the lawyer Martha Swatek is not Martha Swatek the actress. Talk about the power of suggestion, I thought there was a resemblance there at first. I guess not.

  • Is it wrong to masturbate to this?

  • @ogfunk187 LOL

  • Ugh.. Now u guys made me never Togo to the beach again dang I jaws

  • Noooo she was the hottest one in the group. Fuck you shark!

  • Noooooo she was gorgeous!

  • Delicious

  • jaws: omnomnomnomnomnomnm!

  • this was filmed in Navarre, Fl, about 30 minutes from where i live here in Pensacola. I was only 2 when they filmed most of the scene here in 77-78, but my neighbor had his picture taken in front of the shark used in the movie.

  • fat guy that looks like hyde from that 70s show is the best!

  • @MrMattnethan he does

  • @mrmario795 :P

  • How did the shark not get cut up by the blade of the chopper when it flipped over??

  • She paid an arm and a leg to save him... LOL no one probably gets that, yah...

  • Actually not sure about the other 2 teenagers. Maybe they're around but just not in the final sailing trip?

  • @kevinto1972, apparently there were a lot of cast changes, I think the actors who played Doug, Andy and Marge were one of the few who were retained, there was a previous actor who was supposed to play Mike but he was replaced.

  • The Jaws 2 log says Searls based the novelization on that draft - the Dorothy Tristan rewrite of Howard Sackler's original screenplay. I guess he went off and wrote his own story because it is very different. The script history was Sackler wrote 1st script, John Hancock was hired as director, Hancock's wife Dorothy Tristan reworked it (but not massively). Then after a few weeks filming Hancock was fired, Jeannot Szwarc was hired and Carl Gottlieb rewrote the script into the final version.

  • no hay pedo en la 3 se comen al morro

  • Marge died....homer disliked this 33 times

  • I hated this scene when i first saw it i still do

  • @jericho641 if they had marge struggling in the sharks mouth it would have looked almost exactly like Quint dying. Although it would make a good flashback

  • At first I thought I heard English.

  • Freaking kid swims like a dog

  • Marge was always the hottest of all the girls, although they did all seem to have a very similar generic 70's look to them. I used to go out with a girl who looked like Tina, she was no prom queen though, LOL.

  • Marge got vaginaed

  • Marge <3

  • the shark kills for fun

  • to bad she was the good looking one lol

  • I wish that Jackie would have died instead of Marge, since at least her character died an honorable death saving Sean.

  • A decent sequel and this is one of the best moments. Very scary.

There is a longer version of the helicopter attack that shows the pilot trapped underwater. It's more frightening so I don't know why they cut it.

  • @jksonny Some of the scenes was cut out because of the young audience. Very typical for horror films back in the days.

  • I am sorry, but there is no way the shark would still be hungry after eating that helicopter pilot.

  • Saw this in the theatre 3 times when it came out.The audience freaked out when Marge got eaten. It was so unexpected having this brave girl sacrificed to save the life of Sean but she always took care of him. Also, such a unique point of view seeing it from behind & Sean's reaction to it, leaving it up to the audiences imagination what he saw.Why is this dubbed in another language?Jackie's scream is way more harrowing than this version.

  • @disasterzone1974 I read a paperbook on the making of the film and for rating purposes they could not *show* too many deaths. So they argused to the rating board that as the pilot was not seen to be eaten he actually swam away and lived(!) They would have got an R is too many deaths were shown on screen.

  • @disasterzone1974

Supposedly there is a scene that shows marge mostly swallowed before the shark disappear's under-water.. I have personally never seen it an don't know if it's true or not but i must admit that scene is horrific. If it does exist i would love to see it...

An the saddest part of this scene is knowing marge dies for nothing because Sean dies in Jaws 4 anyways.

  • @XxComablackxX1937 , I don't think such a scene existed as on the DVD, the director said the scene of the shark rising behind Marge while the actress is being yanked under the water by divers took a whole day to shoot. They are not going to make it more difficult than it already was. Besides, Marge survived in the original script and I don't think they even planned for a shot like that.

  • Am I going to hell if I honestly say that I'd leave the kid?

  • U know wats weird it only took like one bite to finish her sooo yea weird?

  • @Stasi78 true we watched this movie like 80 billion times Im still like dis bitch just won't die!

  • @comablack:I'm glad I'm not the only one that remembers it,I saw that scene back in in 93 I think so 6 yrs old damn that's awhile

  • i cant think of anything more horrific than being eaten by a shark, a crocodile might be worse actually.

  • Gulp!!

  • this is genius

  • Yer is saw that when I watched it like 3 years ago when it was showing it on tv.

  • Supposedly there's a scene that was deleted that shows Marge in the Sharks mouth before it goes under.. I have never seen it but many have confirmed it way back in the day.. What be awesome if it's true an it does surface one day.. Make this scene 10x creepier.

An sean's survives this movie, but get's ripped apart in Jaws 4.. Which did make for an ''Awesome'' opening...but fell apart shortly after-wards.

  • That scream queen stupid girl should have died, not brave Marge!

  • @Stasi78 dude Jackie was traumatized asshole

  • Ooo wicked even better if there was more blood though

  • A little useless trivia - the child actor who plays Sean Brody is Marc Gilpin, Roz from Frasier younger brother.

  • 1:37 ftw.... the kid seriously need some better acting lesson :D

  • @MrLepeu You can't blame her. Nobody wants to see a little kid with his/jher whole life ahead of them eaten by a shark. Blame the director for writing it in that she died. She'd be a mother of 3 kids , living in the Hamptons , probably on " Housewifes of Amity"

  • @Tom6093 didnt seem to bother steven speilberg in the first movie did it

  • And she saved him for what ???? For him to die in Jaws 4. Leaving a fiance behind on Christmas Eve of all days.

  • See, now if they had shown that more graphically, maybe with the struggling body in the shark's mouth and blood gushing everywhere, that would've been much more effective, and would've made this a much scarier film. Or even a grasping, blood covered hand still grabbing for the boat even as the shark pulls her under. Also, it's much scarier the way sharks really attack, from below (i.e. the best scenes in the original Jaws). This movie was a lame sequel; no Spielberg, and it shows.

  • @jerico641 what about her hand reaching out of the water, and when they try to grab her and pull her up, it floats sideways and its ONLY her hand xDDDD

  • @Decurioz

Yeah, maybe, but you need the whole screaming effect to really be horrifying I think. And lots of blood. Used at the right times in movies, these can be really terrifying, because none of us wants to die, and especially not THAT way.

  • I remember I almost cried every time I saw this scene as a child.

  • 1:34 that shot scares the shit out of me

  • Bwahahahaha!!! dumb bitch.

  • In the final draft of the script, Marge and the helicopter pilot both survive their shark attacks by hiding in the bubble of the upturned helicopter. They are last seen arriving at cable junction and presumably survive the film.

  • keep pressing 8 lol

  • I've always hated this scene, even as a little kid I hated this scene. This girl Marge gave her life for that kid and was the most heroic of all those stupid teen brats. I guess the director really wanted us to hate the shark, thus killing off Marge instead of that other girl that is always screaming (Jackie?).

  • @gothatway09 I remember watching the "Making of" documentary on DVD, I think it was more about getting across the concept of the shark as a force of nature, like a tornado it is not malicious, it does what it does. I remember him saying he wanted it to look like she'd been "obliterated," and it works, even though there's no blood, its easily the most shocking scene in the film, and I would say it rivals the best bits of the first one. Jaws 2 certainly has a darker feel than Jaws 1.

  • @gullivera no it doesnt at all. jaws had a perfect use of light and dark themes, jaws 2, used too much teenage storylines, all badly acted, and crappy 40feet shark,40mph, attacks without the proper use of the building musical score.

    2/10

  • press 9 haha

  • They picked Martha Swatek (Marge) cause can't you see, she nails the role. The whole role, not just this scene. She deserved bigger and better things......

  • Marge....... the quiet, loving one, remember 45 minutes or so back into the movie when she runs along the pier.... "he can come with me if he wants......" lovely, she even held sean at one point, on the boat, with the sun in their eyes, she nurtured and cared big time for Sean, then you slaughter the fuck from her? Fuck you Jeannot Scwarc. If you took Jackie down you may have had a slight chance of surpassed Jaws 1. But very very millimeter type slightly.

  • EEWW!! .. You hear the crunching!! And we, the audience, only witnessed it from behinde the shark, .. imagine WHAT that little kid saw!!

  • aghh thats horrifiying ewww i want whote sharks to be excincted 4 good wjos wiv me? :(

  • 1000th comment!!!

  • Wonder what would happen to the shark if a bug zapper got put in the water...

  • It's always the brave ones isn't it

  • id fuck marge 2

  • I'd fuck Marge

  • jesus, do they have to overdub the screams too?

  • was marge sean's mother i never saw this movie(i know i know)

  • @mralphamegaman No, she wasn't his mother; she was his friend. And she saved him because she was a generous and brave girl who loved him :)

  • Which one is marge

  • Marge's death was such a horrible waste because the shark from the 4th one remembered what marge did to save sean and thats why it looked for Ellen Brody in the phone book to find out where sean was 9 years later (Jaws 2 - 1978, Jaws 4, 1987) to have her share of sean because shark 2 never got to eat sean and was electrocuted.

  • And once again, the Coast Guard fails........

  • If I was a giant shark, I'd honestly swim around and bump boats, just to mess with people. You all know you would too.

  • 1:40 i hate that girl so much!! Totally made the entire movie annoying... She wasnt even good looking :S

  • R.I.P marge. i like the idea of her hiding under the boat rather than being eaten, o well.

  • @theginjaninja93 Wait. How could you hide from a shark UNDER a boat?

  • @JenchiBoo good point lol. i didnt think of that :) i obviously wouldnt live long if i tried to hide under a boat from a shark. I based my comment upon PungiFungi's information. i still liked the idea of marge not dying though.

  • Originally Marge and the helicopter pilot survived and everybody thought she was eaten when in reality she ducked underneath the boat (or in the storyboards, the pilot pulled her under). Who knows, maybe that is what happend in the movie.

  • @PungiFungi Yep the paper back I read said that the script was written that way to avoid an R rating that would have hurt the film's business. Of course they both *really* got eaten but the filmmaker played it both ways (left things ambiguous on screen) so they could argue to the rating board that only 5 people die in the film.

  • @zaniac100 , you might think the bloody deaths of Alex Kintner and Quint in the first movie would get an R rating. The book you mention, does it have a picture of Sean and Marge on the cover? I remember seeing a making of Jaws 2 paperback (although it wasn't named as such) at a Star Trek convention years ago.

  • @PungiFungi I can't remember what was on the cover. I recall a lot of the film's production, including explanations about casting choices of the teen characters(!) I found it interesting but as a teenager I didn't think to copy the book or make notes.

  • @PungiFungi The book is The Jaws 2 Log by Ray Loynd. Also if you go to Drew's Script-o-rama website, you can find a "final draft" script of Jaws 2 which is actually a fairly early one, before Carl Gottlieb rewrote it heavily. This is the draft they showed to the MPAA that got the studio panicked about an R. There's more deaths, a boy bitten in half (like the Lake Placid scene) and a much more gruesome attack on the waterski boat.

  • @kevinto1972 , I remember the back of the paperback mentioned there was a cast of "17 teenagers" (but I counted only 15 in the movie). And I wonder what version of the script did the novelization by Hank Searls was based on.

  • Her efforts were in vain, cuz sean wound up dying in the 4th one :(

  • this scene was great apart from jackie at the end

  • looks like len really cares about sean! so sweet! pls put the bit after with len & sean

  • honesty waist because Sean gets eaten in jaws the revenge

  • OM NOM NOM NOM

  • It's totally nonsense that Bruce from Jaws 1975 was able to go down with three barrels, and even sink the Orca! this one can barely go through those canvas made boats... Any real llife great white is more intelligent and would have a superior instinct for a better attack...

  • @binderas2001 and apprently this is supposed to be an even bigger shark

  • i feel so sorry 4 sean after that cuz he is bascially parallzed with fear (if u can read my shitty writing) n when he manages 2 get back on the boat were everybody else is that len (i think, someone correct me if i'm wrong) goes "i though we lost u" n then kisses his head, its so adorble my favourite part of the film

  • @lydia13031996 its a movie....

  • @Globox822 why don't u get a life

  • @lydia13031996 yeah, you should give that advice to yourself. Get a life indeed.

  • @Globox822 oh just PISS OFF

  • @lydia13031996 AWWW! So cute! That was my fav part of the film 2!

  • @MultiNiki96 i really want this youtuber 2 put it up, is it len that kisses his forhead right?

  • @lydia13031996 Yes, I think so... it's the guy with the curly blonde hair :)

  • @MultiNiki96 the guy with the curly blonde is called andy the actor is called len!

  • @lydia13031996 Right ;)

  • I counted change from my piggy bank and went and saw this with a friend. We were both clearly underage but, got in anyway. I have always loved this movie. The actors here do a really fine job. This has gotta be the key emotional point of the film. Her character is so good and the shark is so relentless that it kills her without hesitation; reminding us that they are all in terrible danger.

  • she risked her life for a little boy, how sweet, I feel feel so bad for her!

  • American movies always die for the kids.

  • Jaws 2... Some say it was a decent sequel. Some say it was run of the mill. I'll say Roy Scheider saved the film from being a total borefest. You basically trade off Matt Hooper, Quint and Mayor Vaughn from the first film for Mike and his totally boring teen friends in the 2nd film. Its just bad Dreyfuss could not come back. Jaws 2 might have gone from decent to maybe as good as the original. After that though, Jaws became irrelevant with 3 and 4.

  • @JasonLives666

The movie died the same moment they decided to make it into another "teenage slasher" horror movie with the shark as just another monster who eats everything and everybody. Roy Scheider only did it because a contract with Universal forced him to.

The original script for Jaws 2 was actually pretty good and had a part with the sinking of the USS Indianapolis in it. Another script dealt with Amity Island becoming a ghost town after its infamous shark attacks.

  • @McLarenMercedes That ghost town storyline would've been too dark and probably wouldn't have appealed to the teenybopper audience.

  • @jemsdiamondify

I'm not familiar with that storyline; can you elaborate on it a little?

  • This movie sucks, because Marge dies. :( Plus, shes the only one of the whole group of those kids, who dies :(

  • @Youlittleanimelover mmmm...Maybe there was a message there....

  • It sucks that marge got eaten but everyone remembers her the most about the film. It's the ones that get eaten that are the stars of the movie. Them and the shark.

  • Marge was a cutie pie. ='(

  • And you know what sucks? The kid gets eaten by a shark when he's an adult! She died for NOTHING!

  • @TeeAiDee

Seriously? I haven't seen Jaws 4. I've heard too much negative shit about it. If Sean was stupid enough to go back into the water after what his father went through in pt 1 and what he went through in pt 2, then he deserved to be eaten. What a tard. I bet he tasted like failure.

  • @donniedarkodevotte Oh, it's even better than that. The dude doesn't even get in the water. The shark friggin jumps onto a damn boat and drags him in there.

  • Fuck the kid! Save yourself Marge! The little brat can fend for himself!

  • but marge died in vain.....see jaws : the revenge for reference (the beginning of it)

  • OM NOM NOM NOM NOM

  • I remember seeing this in the theaters. After all the close call attacks earlier, I though Marge would got up onto the boat just in time. All of a sudden the shark got her and she was gone. Totally unexpected.

  • Painting toilets da beach!

  • wat. wat. in the baat.

  • why doesnt the shark just leap onto each of these boats and snatch all them hippies?

  • What they all fail to understand is that screaming will NEVER HELP THE MATTER

  • @TinoDun101 ...a 25, 30 foot, 6000 pound fish that just sank a freaking *helicopter* right in front of you, and you know full well its still circling waiting for its chance to make you its next meal (and that's before it actually strikes and manages to eat someone else)? ...you'd have to have nerves of steel and ice water in your veins to *not* scream.

  • @DorianMichaelsIII you are so right

  • WOWA big thing in the water!

  • Man, Marge was the fittest girl there and they killed her off, i would of lobbed that sobbing, squealing bitch in and saved Marge.

  • That shark was a fuckin fatass! Lose some weight lol

  • NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • u know the shitty part is sean gets killed in the beginning in the 4th film

  • @slasher0630 which is one reason why the 4th film was pure crap

  • SHIT THAT SHARK WAS HUGE!

  • @zachromero like you could do any better and this move is 10x better than bullshit 21st century CGI bullshit

  • la plus belle scène des dents de la mer 2, marge, une femme courageuse, prète a mettre sa vie en danger pour sauver cet enfant!! admirative

  • I think it was sad that the lady had to die I think that they should had askaped

  • hey. would u rather have the girl die or the kid? i mean in the titanic the old people were one of the last people to be saved because out of them all the old people were most likely to die first. She was most likely to die first.

  • Something tells me those kids need a bigger boat...I thank you

  • then they kill the kid in the last one.. hes the first to die

  • I was 12/13 when Jaws 2 opened. So I was still a kid and it too scarred me. The first is and always will be the classic. But as a kid, J2 had its moments.Burnt body stuck to boat then flps onto Brody....yeah, that kept me up for about 3 nites.

Years later I stumble across the "Jaws 2 Log" in paperback. In the script, both Marge and pilot survive (he escapes helecoptor, she dives down/pushes off shark) They even filmed it, but decided better tension without. So it was cut.

  • @MrPaymenomind i saw too and i like it

  • This scene is why I never want to try and be a hero

  • haha bitch

  • @MrLOBIP LMAO

  • @Pippomero ?

  • @027220 yes?

  • @Pippomero Are you blaming the kid? He's 'younger' than her.

  • I always hated that part right at 1:36/1:37 when you see it chew on her. yeah that was brutal as a 10 year old lol

    still gets to me

  • you know what's dumb? they just swam farther and farther away from the others' boatsd, which woulda been a lot easier to get onto.

    DAMN

  • @william80085 yeah sure

  • Loud Noises!

  • Hooper ya idiot !

  • the girl crying.....lol

  • So ironic, Marge saved Sean here, yet Sean would be quickly eaten in Jaws 4.

  • I feel sad for beautiful Marge. She was the hippy of the group.

  • i feel really bad for the people.I seen jaws2

  • Well. That kid is traumatized for life.

  • @galgacusferox well spoken and that girl when she cried...lol

  • @galgacusferox Don't worry - it's a short life. ;)
