No, the the language is Greek, but the idea is that the people John was writing to -- mostly converted Jews who were used to such cryptograms -- would have known who John was talking about -- the king who now "is."

They would have solved the cryptogram in Hebrew letters -- not Greek -- to find the answer.

A non-Jew would have had no evidence that John was writing of Nero as "the beast," which would have been deadly for anyone possessing this scroll.

And yet you see this as a general resurrection.

There are many beasts. In Rev. 13 The first beast is King Saul who suffered a mortal wound yet lived. King Saul persecuted Yahudites.

The second beast of Rev. 13 is Saul/Paul who also persecuted Yahudites and breathed life ino an idol known as Jesus.

The mark of the beast is the cross or crucifix made up of the image of King Sauls dead body nailed to the wall.
