  • 1:05 n @ 1:50 cello n a viola was playing, if my ears aren't fooling me.

I do know that the piano n the viola is Enaudi fave instruments, n so r they to me. So I'm not sure if he uses all three of the instruments in this pieces or just the cello n piano.

  • To be honest, I don't really care what instrument it is. I just want to listen to the music <3

  • Most certainly a cello. Maybe a viola, but that's stretching it... XD

  • Cello...without a single doubt x

  • Oh wow....

  • amazing

  • I have been feeling really stressed in school lately with Exams coming up and tons of homework. So I have started listening to songs like this while I study. It's helped me calm down so much, and I think I study better because of it.

  • @AddictedtoDGrayMan I do this too!! These songs completely got me through exams in December. Good luck on yours! :)

  • Makes me want to have the sheets :D

  • really nice compositions.pieces to sit down and let the world pass away - the soul needs sometimes something kinda this...

  • This song oozes warmth

  • My mom was sitting next to me while I was listening to this, and she asked me what I was listening to, and this was just after my parent's divorce, and so I let her listen to it, and she cried.

  • the violin note at 0:56 makes me want to :,(

  • @Dave4567 Yes, me to! Wauw..

  • @Dave4567 That sounds too rich to be a violin

  • @theafi99000 Maybe cello? Not sure, it goes quite hi so could be viola? But you're right I'm not sure it's a violin.

  • @MsArBeee I think cello,

for example take this performance of a cello watch?v=lgAurilSDXQ

  • @MsArBeee Its definitely a violin. I play a little and it can go that low and sound that full

  • @MsArBeee - I have played cello for 15 years, it is definitely a cello you hear. A cello can go almost as high as a violin, but is the only instrument in the strings category that can emit such richness as you hear in this gorgeous piece. Great ear you have, and excellent taste in music : )

  • This song makes me want to learn the violin and the piano!!!

    It's so good!

  • I can't find the words to describe the sensations that fill my heart when I listen to this song. I'm proud to be italian like Ludovico and I hope to see him soon ... <3

  • Comment removed

  • Fairy Tail!

  • i'm usually a mean person.. but I LOVE LUDOVICO EINAUDI!

  • Simply fabulous...

  • Gorgeous work

  • its amazing...how music can move one so...i have no words to even describe this piece...

  • in school, our music teacher told us to write our own " piano song" i was just happy, because i love playing my piano and just writing little pieces like this, then he gave us a sheet of paper full of things we are allowed to and aren't allowed to. it's just something like "build your own pop-music on a piano" i started to tell him, that you need the special magic feeling to write your own "piano song" he said, we aren't allowed to do our own. i told him, he should give me 0 points!

  • @rubiksist well then he's not much of a music teacher, and is actually doing the musical world a disservice by squashing your creativity.

If you truly love your piano, you won't need him anyway. I've been teaching myself, for myself, and I couldn't be happier with what I have achieved! If I can, then others can too, and power to you all!

Perhaps you would make a good piano teacher one day, and show him how it's done? :-D

  • this is the true meaning of music

  • allah means god, god means allah, spell god backwards and you get halla

  • Stfu about God, just respect everyone else's views.

  • @sidewalkmedia if you read the comment he isnt disrespecting anyone elses views at all. He puts that straight forward. I myself am not a believer in God, but what he says makes me know how he feels and I respect him, his beliefs, anyone elses', and this piece of music :)

  • anyone in love with this, check out roberto cacciapaglia.... he is similair to this yet so diffrent all at the same time, i think it will be enjoyed as well.....

  • @XxMinka Thanks for this :D I'm glad I looked it up :)

  • Anyone else thinks that it sounds a little like "Titanic?"

    Still a beautiful song :)

  • I'm not depressed, he's just so beautiful

  • OMG.i'm crying on this

  • FINALLY! I found a dark corner of youtube nearly free of angry, swearing dumb people, AND it has nice music too...

  • @FiremanSSkarmoryfan yeah ... Einaudi does that! ;)

  • @FiremanSSkarmoryfan I agree.

  • Amazing .....

  • Playing this piece for my AS Level music performance... I just hope I can put as much feeling and emotion into it as Ludovico Einaudi has and intended for it to be... Simply amazing. <3

  • whenever I want to feel, whenever i feel lost in the cosmos, whenever life has thrown the worst, or the best at me, whenever i need to calm down and de-stress or wake up and smell the coffee there is Ludovico Einaudi, I am fortunate, I HAVE seen the light and I know Godliness flows from these fingers and every time I hear his music I thank the Lord God above for sharing his genius with us. Bless the music, Bless the man.

  • Just enjoy it, this is a wonderful music :)

  • I just want to enjoy the beauty of this music.

  • WILL YOU DANG CHRISTAINS SHUT IT!! IM CHRISTAIN TOO BUT AT LEAST IM NOT YELLING AT ATHEISTS!!! LET THEM DO WHAT THEY FRICKIN WANT!!!

  • @sonicfan19941

    Thanks bro : )

  • @InfiniteMomentStudio I'm a girl but still, your welcome!

  • @sonicfan19941

Aha, I just meant "man" as addressing a group of people, but that doesn't change my thanks : )

    ~IMS

  • @sonicfan19941 Thanks! You've made my day! I'm totally sick and tired of those worked-up christains who want to lecture me. Finally found the exception!

  • Ok, I say we disable comments on Ludovico music videos.

Go take your god-talks and troll a different video.

  • Will you people SHUT UP. It's JUST music. YES it is man made-and that is a DUh da DUHHH! 2nd, ain't NOBODY in this world "Just appeared" whether you like it or not, man didn't just make themselves. 3rdly, leave them alone. Just like any religion, they believe what they wanna believe. Move on. Get over yourself. If you want to not believe in anything that is your choice. That is their choice to believe in something. And it's a shame you'd even waste your time as to sit here and agrue that.

  • Shut up about god, it's about the music, not him!

  • God IS NOT real. Read the bible and you'll understand.

  • God has nothing to do with this song or any of Einaudis songs. MAN created the piano and therefore WE created piano music. It wasn't like that old man looked down at us and said "I better make this piano for them so they can create music for me". -.- Stop spamming this vid with GOD CRAP. Ludovico made this and only he. And he's amazing.

  • the bing bang is false .. read the bible there is the answer

  • @megamadrid67 what did that have to do with anything?

  • WOW DIOS creador del mundo y el universo. que hermosa melodia. bendice a este hombre

  • all of these religion based comments:

religion does not affect how great a song this is. pay more attention to the musical genius that was put into this song and stop your debates about religion.

  • This is a beautiful song but it's sad that in the comments of almost every video on youtube there has to be a debate about religion. I believe everyone would appreciate it if a beautiful song like this wouldn't be tainted by arguments.

  • Why do everyone have to bring religious stuff into beautiful things? You are a christian doesn't mean everyone else is, please, just respect other users and keep your love to God yourself. I believe in God but respect him through your heart, not spamming on YouTube, telling people about him and what so ever. I would love to see comments like the top ones instead of some shit ass extremist shit. I don't think God love extremists.

  • @termometen If we can't grieve for what we believed about, then what's the point in sorrow? And without sorrow we can't feel bad about the massive things that you've listed. It's not bad to feel sorry for something just because it's small. Would you call it stupid to grieve for your mother, just because there was only one of her.

Dude, I agree that going around saying RIP Steve Jobs just because you have an iPod is shallow, but let people grieve for what they believe in. It's not wrong to have

  • @cricketsong4045 I love how you didn't yell back and kinda had some maturity :)

  • Quelle Magnifique Air , C'est une beauté ...

  • I can feel Allah in my heart

  • @NoName97100 No, Allah is not serene. This is something made by man and what mirrors our minds peacefulness, beauty of mortalness.

  • @pingvins5 Allah just means God: If you're an athiest then the idea of God is simply a manifestation of human spirituality (or should be). If you're not, then to say that a piece of music makes you feel God is the greatest compliment you can give it :) Let people feel what they feel :)

  • @SuperCactusman

The smartest words I've seen on youtube yet.

  • I cannot put into words the sheer beauty that flows from that mans fingers. It is rare that a human can create such magical music. Amazing.

  • This is so incredibly beautiful

    Their are no words

  • That's how first love is i guess.. a fairytale.. ups downs.. and a heartbreak so sweet.. yet painful :(

  • how can music without words move your heart right left..inside out?? Mr. Einaudi knows best :) :(

  • I'm not much of a fan for this kind of music but I do love Ludovico Einaudi so much. This music is very emotional yet so peaceful.

  • Ludovico cried above the piano and this is what happened.

  • wow i'm speachless too . it's so beautiful! i must always think bout him when i hear this song

  • it is beautiful. it give us some power in our selfs to be better. and not just live life as a passenger but as the driver. thank you for our music .

  • Absoloutley Beautiful. I'm speachless!

  • Hey, psst termometen yeah you. Stfu

  • I cried -_______-

  • @PoSi7iVe So did I.

  • Played so sweetly...

  • I wannaaa be a fairy:(

  • STEVE JOBS R.I.P :'(

  • @MEDOOCAFE did you know him?... I don't think so... and btw, like a million dies of starvation in Africa each year but why the fuck would you care... people are getting killed every second but why would ou care... Europe is collapsing because of the immigrants but why would you care... the US economy is gone but why would you care... all I wanted to say is that Steve Jobs where just ONE human and NOT a freaking God!

  • @termometen Eat a dick nigga.

  • This song breaks my heart...in a good way.

I think it's about loss, and about acceptance.

  • Gives me chills.amazing

  • i absolutley love the violin part, it is astounding. the music is so simple, yet so complex.....gorgeous!!!

  • If you hit the the dislike button there is something wrong with you. if emotion was music this would be it.

  • this is the type of music that can make you believe in magic

  • 2:21 i always start crying :')

  • δε μπορω να σταματησω να τ'ακουω...τι μαγικο...

  • this is so so beautiful, i love that it can transfer you into a completely different mindset

  • awesome but that breathing-sound is annoying^^

  • I LOVE how the dislike bar is invisible! :D

  • This song is perfect.

Ludovico Einaudi, you make me feel like I'm in heaven

  • Perfection

  • This music makes me picture a human boy and a fairy dancing in a forest at night... Einaudi's music is so beautiful, it always makes me feel so relaxed and helps me concentrate!

  • srsly will people stop taking all the God crap into this? It's a beautiful song, created by man. Leave it with that.

  • @MyPianoWish Yes a song created by a man, with an amazing capacity to perform based on his intelligence & creativity he could compose this piece, all of this is a refletion of the Master Creator or God, who endowed us as humans with the ability to APPRECIATE Art & Create art. "For His invisible qualities are clearly seen from the world’s creation onward, because they are Perceived by the Things Made, even his eternal Power and Godship, so that they are inexcusable" Romans 1:20 You can Perceive!

  • @Stephybell1 Please, you need to get a new hobby. God doesn't give you a future, education does. God can't provide your family, jobs do. Not to mention the Bible, written by man, belived by man, buried by man in the nearest future :)

  • @MyPianoWish your thinking is based on a lack of knowledge, probably even if Jesus himself would be talking to you, you wouldn't believe! & that education you mention, if you had it (astronomy, science, archaeology, physics, etc) you'd realize that there's an INTELLIGENCE Behind All. He IS The Great Instructor "Among whom the god of THIS System of things has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, that the illumination of the Glorious Good news about the Christ, might Not shine through" 2 Cor. 4:4

  • @Stephybell1 "My lack of education and knowledge"? Neat, now tell me how far intelligence would get you in real life? Nowhere, cause the very definition of intelligence is iq, which is only a measurement for how well you can absorb knowledge and use it. Aka, "there is an intelligence behind it all" is a poor statement. And yea, quoting the Bible is not really gonna get you anywhere.

ps: Your random statement of me having a lack of education is just stupid considering im currently on my masters.

  • @MyPianoWish I see what concerns you the most is what & how far will you get in life, so tell me, in a life of maybe 50 more years (or less depending on circumstances) is that how long you would like to live? for what? what is your purpose of living? you want to live working 9 to 5, working, slave yourself for money, fame,... or what moves you? family, friends? achieving a master doesn't give you insight or wisdom, you love music, so do you ponder on it? on Why you feel when you hear or see?

  • @Stephybell1 Why would you say that? All i pointed out was that you stated something that was false. My master does give me wisdom, insight and a future, and all these points are needed to provide a future for my upcoming family.

If you are having problems to see why people work 8 hours a day, 5 times a week I feel sorry for you. They do it to provide their families, to make sure that their children gets a better future. One of many reasons to why we live is to reproduce, simple as that.

  • @MyPianoWish & are you saying that finding intelligence behind of the visible world, is not valid? do research on patters in life, such as flowers composed by fibonacci secuences, order in everything from a galaxy to an atom, DNA, the precise size of the earth & its distinctive properties that without them just as precise as they are, you & I wouldn't be alive, most scientist deny an Intelligent source behind it, because they KNOW the implications of it, they'd be accountable to Someone Superior

  • @Stephybell1 Sinse when did I say that? Twisting words seems to be one of the few things you are good at. But you clearly want to hear me say that yes, anything that cannot be confirmed in visual is far as sience goes, a theory.

Everything that you listed can be observed. Not with the human eye, but with through the needed tool. God on the other hand, can't be observed in any existing way, which makes him also a theory.

The reason scientist don't speak of the beginning if because they DONT know.

  • @MyPianoWish Well, whether you believe in a Creator or in any other cause for the existence of the universe & everything in it, like you say (according to your own words) it's a theory (I have never twisted any statement made by you theories that they're matter of faith believing in one) so make sure that your beliefs are correct, the Greatest man who ever lived once said 'Happy are those conscious of their spiritual need' Mat. 5:3 I Truly hope you can provide for your family not only materially

  • @Stephybell1 Well, there is a reason we call it "The big bang Theory". But anyways, i agree with you 100% in providing more than material. My thinking is that if you get a good job that you enjoy doing (which is where the education is needed), you get more time to enjoy your family and not having to worry about the materialistic needs.

  • @MyPianoWish Nothing wrong with working & providing actually we all need 'money' we buy & works as a protection just like Eccl. 7:12 says "For wisdom is for a protection the same as money is for a protection; but the advantage of knowledge is that wisdom itself preserves alive its owners" & what I always meant is that just because you cannot See 'by the technology of Today' that God exist, doesn't mean He isn't there! there are tons of things we cannot see with our bare eyes, xrays, gases, atoms

  • @MyPianoWish it's like saying to people in 1500 well 'earth circles the sun not the other way around & earth is not being held by turtles & isn't square ohh & there comes a day where you can send information in fractions of second anywhere in the world, and you will be able to travel great distances in matter of couple hours' They wouldn't believe you! So just because the science of 'Now' hasn't being able to find God, don't deny Him, but if you would happen to really want to find Him, you will.

  • @Stephybell1 I'm looking forward to the time when you can prove that God exists, and look back at this conversation and laugh. Oh yea, you can't because he is just a fictional character. It's like saying that there is a "sun god", but he is invisible and only talk to some people that REALLY want him to exist.

  • @MyPianoWish Well soon God himself will step in from the background were he has been, in order to allow us to govern ourselves so to prove that it will never work without His sovereignty (His right to govern us) man hasn't being able to solve world's problems & never will. So pretty soon in a war called Armageddon you & all the world will get to know Him, so it's too bad that people like you don't listen until pretty late, people stubborn & puffed up with pride, like in Noah's day! what a shame.

  • @Stephybell1

Philosophy is the art of truth and through mastery of this subject one can understand the reality of God's -- an all knowing, all powerful, "perfect" being -- existence is utterly impossible.

I appreciate the care that you show towards those who YOU believe will be hurt by their lack of conformity with your views; however, this concern is not necessary. There is proof against every argument of God's existence that has arisen thus far.

May I ask why you believe in him?

  • @InfiniteMomentStudio it's not my view, I only speak about the promises that are written in the Bible so, they don't come from me, for every argument that exist about the 'non existence' of God there are plenty convincing ones that He does exist! As I said before, nobody can deny God just because modern science hasn't being able to find Him, however We Do Exist aren't we here? Who wrote down the complexity of DNA, or Who placed in precise order stars, galaxies? Order doesn't come from desorder

  • @Stephybell1

Well the bible is unfortunately a non fiction work, ALTHOUGH BRILLIANT, it still can't provide any proof OF Gods existence other than someone saying that he exists.

The argument 'nobody can deny God just because we haven't any proof he exists' - due to 'the burden of proof argument - states that if there is no proof that something exists, then a rational being actually SHOULD not believe he exists. Would you like me to go onto the argument of existence, or recap any of my claims?

  • @InfiniteMomentStudio Open your eyes and look around you, there is a miracle in EVERYTHING you see.

  • This is true; however, miracles do not in any way prove Gods existence. Improbable things happen everywhere, all the time, yet there is no connection between them happening and an all powerful entity making them happen.

Life IS improbable (and beautiful), but people keep winning lotteries.

    yours,

    ~IMS

  • @MyPianoWish Gods will is everything, past present, and your future. If he wants you to Graduate high school he will make sure you graduate high school, if he doesn't want you to go into the military then you wont go into the military and if he wants you to go on a mission trip then you will go on a mission trip. Things happen for a reason and you cant stop them from happening because they are meant to happen, one way or another. Your future was seen by God before you were conceived.

  • @JCdenton50 Very well, prove to me that there is a God. Whoops u can't, because god is like any other fictional character. There are no proof of him ever talking to anyone or creating anything. It would be no difference if i told you that there is a guy who created the world in 6 days and made some other guys love man more than they loved him, his name is Ash (just for lol).

  • @MyPianoWish Well there is only one way i can prove it to you, and that is for you to experience his presence for yourself. Whoops you cant because your unwilling.

  • @MyPianoWish God Created man Therefore God Created music Man Created. Logic.

  • @MyPianoWish

    THANK YOU!!!

  • @MyPianoWish Altough you didn't have to say God crap, you could've said God stuff

    .

  • If you love einaudi you might like my latest composition "La force et la faiblesse". Just click my username below

  • on one side it makes me so sad, but on the other, it sets me free. i think that, the "anthem of broken heart" fits best description. when fairytale goes bad Einaudi keeps our spirit. thank you

  • Comment removed

  • cry, ´cause i love it...

  • This song reminds me of something so painfully beautiful it would always be out of reach, like the stars in the winter sky or a prickling "what if" in

    the bottom of our hearts.

Thank you for letting me experience magic :'')

  • same im a teen and i think this generation is getting lazy and instead of searching to find music as gorgeous as this or just music we enjoy. we switch on the radio and listen to pop because we cant be botherd. but im glad i found this composer :') xx

  • Beauuutifulll

  • I love this music all it needs is Gianluca Paganelli vocals on it

  • @reidvfx Thank so much! Beautiful!

  • I am also a teenager (no offense to others' music preference) that wished everyone on this very planet could understand such natural beauty to the heart. I also have a tendency of typing up my comments while listening to the piece, no reason why, however I begin to think much much more than what I would after the piece has been played.

  • @Drag0nzeyes I think that's the problem with a lot of these posts. The music inspires them to write down what's in their heads. I think some of it should stay in their heads. It's not just Ludovico's music, but any music that they are touched by. It makes for some daft reading sometimes.

  • @shrivel1 You make me feel so good Ludovico... - I mean seriously stuff like this O_O

  • @soshowcanihelp Not sure I understand your post. It didn't make sense.

  • me, i am paramore fan and complete gleek but i love nothing more than listening to ludovico's work while relaxing and do my hw

i think he's just saved my education :)

  • I found a beautiful Einaudi song not many have heard of. Only place I've found it is on Grooveshark. Look for 'Una Storia D'amore II'. In fact his whole album Alexandria is very good.

  • thats song remember me so much good thing that happened in my life :)

  • Great music!! I love Einaudi! Hei all everybody, I am a young italian piano composer, and I think that this video is the best place to invite all of you to listen my music! Sorry for the spam.. I just want to tell you that every Saturday I'll upload a new music video with songs from my "web album" called "Al di là del tocco" ("beyond the touch")! There are already two compositions! I wait you in my channel!

    See you brothers!

  • ... :)

  • i bet a guitar would brighten up the sadness outa this song

  • @karyasan I find it more soothing and relaxing than sad. It is a fairytale

  • this make me forget all my problems and all world problems for 3:55 minutes...ludovico einaudi keep the good work on bring peace for all ppls who listen ur musics...many thanks.

  • This song reminds me of a love I can never get and a life where I dream of...

I guess thats why they call this song fairytale.

  • I`m 35 and into heavy rock, and have totally fallen in love with this. Thank you so much Ludovico Einaudi, you have brightened up one more life.

  • This brings me into my own world, where evil and hatred are non existent. so soft and gentle, this is what I call music.......................

  • I just moved and it's been really hard on me, every second of everyday I hate where I am, but listening to Einaudi, I forget where I am and am completely entranced by his music <3

  • What is life without Music..

    Is it Love,

    is it Hate,

    No.

    it is Simply Nothing..

  • just ...magical

  • what amazing music with picture

  • ohh so true im touched deeply

    grazie a dio

  • It's a miracle.. what man can do with nothing but his hands and a wooden instrument.

Ludovico Einaudi, you have made me happy and sad, hate and love.

    I am bursting with emotion.

    Thank you.

  • @MrRambutanHead You should honor the piano with a little bit more than "a wooden instrument"... It's an incredibly heavy instrument of wood, string and metal, hand-crafted and amazingly intricate. I think that pianos and violins are truly miraculous creations.

  • @MrRambutanHead

It is a miracle, that god has created us. If us, such small creatures can do such things, then imagine what god can do

    good lord

    thank you

  • @TheMainTottenhamMan I applaud you. And I feel exactly as you do. I love dubstep and house. I've been playing the saxophone since I was your age (now 24). I play a lot of pop & R&B. I know the words to tones of Eminem songs. And this video.. I can't get enough of this music right either. And while being high, it makes it even more emotional for me. Life is good. :)

  • What is, What was, and What is to come.

  • i can't imagine life without music

  • @TheMainTottenhamMan It's neat the way our ears can be happy with many different types of sounds. For me, the two most played artists on my iPod are AC/DC and Vanessa Carlton, and their music is the complete opposite. Now I need to get more Einaudi on my iPod, and that will be up they're with my good ol' rock and roll and my inspiring alternative music.

  • @unforgettable903 there*, sorry. I can be stupid sometimes :)

  • i swear i have never heard anything more beautiful in my life. its pure magic, it has the power to captivate and entrance the listener. i guess ive fallen under ludovico einaudi's spell, because i just want to listen to his music forever. <3

  • i like this song, cause it makes me wonder,,, why am i sad tonite,, when I shouldnt,, i guess is the last pieces of an old heart that are dying finally, cause they know they will be soon reborn,, and they are afraid to die.. like when you remember how much you loved someone,, and you are afraid of starting all over again...

  • krém!

  • Just because other music is more "popular" doesn't mean we are stupid to listen to this beauty of music... Your dubstep doesn't mean anything! :/ <3

  • And on the 7th day god invented the replay button

    one M0:00R time

  • @16ISMYNUMBER the 8th day*
