Very different styles, Tonedeff is more modern so meaning more multi's. Thus, Big Pun would have definetively advanced in this aspect. After, all Big Pin rhyme schemes are still more complex than most this days. Flow wise, here I got to give it to Pun, though Tone has a much faster than Pun and sounds a lot different. I suppose Pun, also may sound repetitive, but songs of his like "Where you at" are quite fascinating in terms of his whole style.

Tonedeff speaks more on the aspect of social inhumanity and reflections of a man who grew up in the streets, and most importantly grew up in this times, plus this days that kind of rap is more wanted and automatically comes out due to the different thinking process of people this days. Pun started rapping in the days where it was about gangster rap. Back then, it wasn't played out, it was the in thing due to the culture, of murderous thugs influencing many young minds, rappers fall victim too

Very different styles, Tonedeff is more modern so meaning more multi's. Thus, Big Pun would have definetively advanced in this aspect. After, all Big Pin rhyme schemes are still more complex than most this days. Flow wise, here I got to give it to Pun, though Tone has a much faster than Pun and sounds a lot different. I suppose Pun, also may sound repetitive, but songs of his like "Where you at" are quite fascinating in terms of his whole style.

@TheColorfulCube ur provin fuk all and why do u think if a rapper is gangsta then he doesnt have deep lyrics. tonedeff tries 2 hard 2 sound deep. tonedeffs stories dont have deep imagery. hes more about multies. puns songs affect me a lot more than any tonedeff song. tonedeff aint creative. he has an old style. he sounds like hes from da early 90s wit his fast flow and obsession 4 multies. dat style is played out. pun came in wit his own style which is more creative.

Biggie has been proven fake by his own mom, who said he made up his lifestyle to get attention and sound cool. Nas is a known fake, Jay Z is fake. DMX is actually not fake either, he actually did alot of shit. Big Pun is fake. Those styles are played out, Tonedeff brings creativity and deep emotional shit to his music. My Lady, The Distance etc. Nobody makes tracks like those.

"Porcelain" is a real life deep personal story with amazing rhyme schemes and lyrics. There's a vid on youtube of Tonedeff explainin that. Most of puns songs are based on fiction.

@TheColorfulCube ok dubz relax. I understand but hiphops much more than just lyrics it's about what stood for as that person when he incorporated his passion and his life to his lyrics. Sometimes the person is more of the focus and thats what appeals there craft to the people. 2 pac would be a perfect example, you've been so engulfed in the technical man.Who has touched more hearts while bringing real hiphop to the forefront. I think tonedeff is tight but not of legend status.

@TruthUniteUs lol, Big Pun didnt bring real life. Pun is only legendary status because he died (like Pac and Biggie) If you die early you become a legend, like Kurt Cobain.
So that's not really a good excuse. And i didnt just say technical skills, Tonedeff is much more personal and raps about his real life than pun. I've heard all puns albums and everything from Tonedeff. Pun exaggerates and makes up his lifestyle. Tonedeff is much deeper, and more conscious. That's my personal opinion.

@TheColorfulCube Also again, you can only judge by rap skills. Content and all of that stuff is just extra. Being deeper dont mean being better. Is tupac better than rugged man cuz he was deeper? its the SKILLS of the RAP meaning the FLOW and the LYRICISM (RHYME TECHNIQUE). content, etc. is extra. same with voice. voice is part of sounding good and its good to have but u dont need that to be skilled and u certainly to judge and measure that to see how a rapper is great etc
