At 16 I went to this concert alone, Blackie drank blood out of a skull. threw it in the audience and it bounced off some dude's head, Randy played a solo and smoke came out a motor strapped to his back, Chris was a GIGANTO figure like 7 ft tall, at one point Blackie was telling the left side of the fans that the right side fans were gonna kick their ass, nothing happened, they closed and fucking IRON MAIDEN came on and rocked the POWERSLAVE set.

I walked home that night, school next day, great.

This shit is GREAT ! One thing im starting to think is, bands like Metallica, Slayer, Anthrax ect kind of brought the extreme lyrical violence thing into rock. It was all too negative...the precursor to Nirvana and alternative music. Classic metal , hard rock, glam ect had great heavy riffs but had uplifting and powerful lyrics. I want to have a good time not shout " die ! die ! die ! " There were alot of things that brought down good music. Lets avoid those pitfalls this time around !
