Kirk is using a ESP VIper 1000 with a custome paint job. and he uses a Gibson SG once in awhile. Pepper uses his custome ESP SG Copy made during the metallica tour prior to the lawsuit by gibson on ESP. and he uses a Fender Tele amps range from high end class A amps to everything else Kirk will use a Marshall JCM800 all the way to a Bogner Ubershcell. and pepper mirror's this as well although if i remember he like the budda amps.

Well if you want to get close to their sound check out the Line6 Spider Valve There's a channel that gives a real class A sound with lots of gain worth looking into.
