@sciorgiodark79 si ha ragione la tonalità è più alta che la tonalità originale. Si deve cantare in Mi maggiore ma Moffo lo canta in Fa Maggiore come le coloture.

Anna Moffo looks gorgeous & sexy here. It was rare in her time to see a beautiful opera singer (not anymore though). Her costume/look here is just like Carmen !(which she never sang). I like Moffo's singing but the role of Rosina in Barber of Seville I prefer for a mezzo-soprano di coloratura to sing it. The best example is Teresa Berganza, Cecilia Bartoli and Jennifer Larmore

(I disagree! It may have been not perfect, but... horrible?!). Anyway, she lost her voice because of the frenetic and intense activity - she sang 12 new roles in 1 year - so her strings wore out pretty quickly.

OK, I actually saw much of this clip again this time WITHOUT sound and I am even MORE convinced she IS Rosina! Definitely as Rossini envisioned her - especially since without the sound, you don't notice she is a soprano and not a mezzo.

If only they had filmed this opera with her!

Stupenda creatura con una tecnica vocale eccezionale, nelle sue emissioni non si nota il benchè minimo sforzo a beneficio di una maggiore plasticità recitativa. XILPIX la Rai oltre alle normali porcate che ci propina, trasmette l'Otello con Del Monaco- Carteri- Capecchi alle 4 del mattino era una registrazione del 1958. Ho detto tra me "Del Monaco in televisione...alla 4 del mattina non ci posso credere !! Brava mamma RAI vergognatevi!!
