@domnal : AFAIR Jeremy didnt play guitar on this song. He did play morraccas. Jeremy usually refused to play rythym for Peter's leads. That was one reason for getting Danny. Just dont think any FM line up can match the original - just my opinion.
@MorroccoM13 Maracas on some videos yes !! but - check this video - OH WELL by FLEETWOOD MAC from 1969 - Jeremy Spencer on Flying V !! I think I was refering to this one !! and generally the three guitar parts that were essentially early Fleetwood Mac . Great music from the early days !!
@MorroccoM13 It is just the way it was - Nothing was definitive it was the best they could do on the day - There are so many versions !! It only becomes definitive when you have heard the same version enough times. Listen to Purple - Ritchie Blackmore's solos varied all the time - even the very structured - Highway Star !! Modern players Just don't improvise on the same scale. All the best players back then would improvise it was a legacy from Jazz .
..(lousy as in Lindsay 'mine with an A..but 'It'sa RIOT!!!)..

@domnal : Ah yes. Nice version. Jeremy must have been in an agreeable mood that day.
God I love the vibrato Danny could do on a whole chord. He was very under-rated.

Love this song but Lindsey overdoes the antics here.
