  • ..(lousy as in Lindsay 'mine with an A..but 'It'sa RIOT!!!)..

  • i love lindsey period i dont care what any body says

  • exactly right Morrocco

  • Nobody but nobody can do this song like Peter Green and Danny Kirwan did it

    PERIOD

  • @MorroccoM13 Needs three guitarists !! Peter Danny and Jeremy !!

  • @domnal : AFAIR Jeremy didnt play guitar on this song. He did play morraccas. Jeremy usually refused to play rythym for Peter's leads. That was one reason for getting Danny. Just dont think any FM line up can match the original - just my opinion.

I saw them 3 times at the old Boston Tea Party.

  • @MorroccoM13 Maracas on some videos yes !! but - check this video - OH WELL by FLEETWOOD MAC from 1969 - Jeremy Spencer on Flying V !! I think I was refering to this one !! and generally the three guitar parts that were essentially early Fleetwood Mac . Great music from the early days !!

  • @domnal : Ah yes. Nice version. Jeremy must have been in an agreeable mood that day.

God I love the vibrato Danny could do on a whole chord. He was very under-rated.

  • @MorroccoM13 It is just the way it was - Nothing was definitive it was the best they could do on the day - There are so many versions !! It only becomes definitive when you have heard the same version enough times. Listen to Purple - Ritchie Blackmore's solos varied all the time - even the very structured - Highway Star !! Modern players Just don't improvise on the same scale. All the best players back then would improvise it was a legacy from Jazz .

  • Love this song but Lindsey overdoes the antics here.
