Shit. I broke and dislocated my right ankle. I was in so much pain, I had to be knocked out by that gas that I don't know how to spell, and when I woke up, my ankle was back in place. 2 weeks laters they did a surgery on me and place a metal plate on my tibula

when i broke my ankle they had to pick it up to put it in a brace (bad break, needed two screws) and my foot just dropped and started swinging like a pendulum. no medication. it is like the most pain you have ever felt but it doesn't go away.

Gah I remember when I dislocated and slightly fractured my ankle.

After a couple of days I went to go get it popped back in place and I wanted to punch the lady in the face!!! My whole ankle was bruised and stupid. I remember that after she popped it back in in place she was massaging my ankle and it popped two more times. I didn't care much for the popping what hurt was her rubbing all the bruising. 10 minutes of that shit was hell....I was balling my eyes out... GAH!!!!

I was in a car wreck and was in the hospital for almost 2 months and atrophied to about 160 pounds (I'm 6'3). Before I started gaining back some of the weight my knees dislocated all the time, usually minor and it would pop right back but 2 times I had to go see my doctor to pop it back in... it's quite a pleasurable sensation, especially when you can pretty much just hop to your feet and walk away!
