These mixed scales Arabic style and kind of medieval... and this whole drum stuffs making this complex rhythm followed by the bass (after the 18 seconds intro, which is also great), it makes the music so alive, they did great, truly a good piece of music!

That shit just makes the anime really cool :D

this was one of my first anime as a toddler...no wonder I was hooked :D (my actual first anime was 3x3 Eyes...not for kids, I know, but my dad didn't think about it lol) the third I was introduced to was Tenchi Muyo!; all three are amazing in their own right!

I just recently finished this series and really enjoyed it from beginning to end. Now seeing there are 2 more series The Wanderers and The Alternative World will have to check them out as well.

They don't suck! The Wanderers is just a TV series retelling. Then 2 and the Alternative WOrld are the sequels to the OVA. Now the AW is the Tenchi in Tokyo of the series, but its not that bad.

The chick that's flying is actually a guy. He's name is Makoto. He's dressed up as a girl to impersonate one of the princess that were kidnapped.
