The distinction between cell phone and airphone calls becomes irrelevant when we realize that the victims' families reported that they received the calls. So did the families lie, meaning all these ordinary folks are in on the evil plot? Or did the conspirators fake all the calls in advance, making the voices and personal details absolutely exact?

We don't know what the exact truth is regarding the phone calls from the passengers on FL77, especially Barbara Olson. The other phone calls on the other flights may have been airphones, although that's a problem if the receiver stated they saw a cellphone ID and the call was made at high altitude. It's a rompecabeza.

1. The FBI stated in the Moussaoui case that only two cellphone calls were made, and both of those were from FL 93 at low altitude (5,000 feet).
2. David Ray Griffin and others have found that FL 77 did not have airphones that were activated. This has gone back and forth, but the evidence clearly points to "not activated". The airphones were to be removed in 2002.

According to David Ray Griffin (DRG), the only mention of 'boxcutters' was from the Olson call. And, of course, Ted Olson was Solicitor General and helped get Bush elected. NIST did not look for explosives or explosive residues in the WTC debris because they already knew that there were no explosives used -- it was solely the planes.
As for validating Harrit et al.'s findings, I've read the article, but I admit that I don't know what the feedback except for that one expert had no argument against it.

If you take the time to notice. The plane exploded INSIDE the building and predominantly at the North end. The coolest areas are going to be the furthest away from that.. Where the entry hole is. Most of the delusional Truthers point out discrepancies between information obtained on the day of the attacks when no knew what what happening, and information from days and weeks later when the pieces of the puzzle come together. people say you can't make cell phone calls from a plane BUT i have before.. i tried a few times and it didn't work.. but another time i tried i got through to my dad and we was chatting for about 4 minutes.
sometimes cell phones work on a plane and some time they don't, its just luck. when my call got through to my dad we was very high up over the atlantic ocean going to France.

Um, if Kennedy and MacNamara nixed Op. Northwoods fifty years ago, doesn't that indicate that the plot was either too diabolical or too risky for our evil leaders?
And what about the cell phone calls? Is it more plausible that the vast conspiracy used state of the art technology to morph the victims' voices? Were the victims calling from a secret base somewhere before being killed? Were the calls a complete fiction?

This is the silliest aspect of the truther fantasy. The distinction between cell phone and airphone calls becomes irrelevant when we realize that the victims' families reported that they received the calls. So did the families lie, meaning all these ordinary folks are in on the evil plot? Or did the conspirators fake all the calls in advance, making the voices and personal details absolutely exact?
Both scenarios are preposterous, laying bare what a sick fantasy the Inside Job is.

Are all these family members in on the conspiracy? Were the calls faked by the conspirators? Did Ted Olson, Solicitor General for the big bad Bush Administration, really sacrifice his wife for this fiendish plot?
What's more plausible about any of these scenarios than that people used phones on the jets?

My brother is an Air Force colonel and it made him uneasy too. The USA could have stopped this from happening.....why didn't we? The night before, Rumsfeld was quoted as saying that there was 3 trillion dollars missing from the war chest and the next day, the companies that could be audited were wiped out in the WTC and Pentagon.

We don't know what the exact truth is regarding the phone calls from the passengers on FL77, especially Barbara Olson. The other phone calls on the other flights may have been airphones, although that's a problem if the receiver stated they saw a cellphone ID and the call was made at high altitude. It's a rompecabeza.

1. The FBI stated in the Moussaoui case that only two cellphone calls were made, and both of those were from FL 93 at low altitude (5,000 feet).
2. David Ray Griffin and others have found that FL 77 did not have airphones that were activated. This has gone back and forth, but the evidence clearly points to "not activated". The airphones were to be removed in 2002.

@unRompecabezas ~ No, I seriously doubt the families were lying. Remember though, we're only talking about a few calls, and really the Barbara Olson call is the critical one. According to David Ray Griffin (DRG), the only mention of 'boxcutters' was from the Olson call. And, of course, Ted Olson was Solicitor General and helped get Bush elected. I think the TRUTH will come out in a court case or a new, honest investigation -- hopefully sooner rather than later. (to continue...)

@unRompecabezas ~ I don't know what "Affirming Consequent" means, but I assume it means that the results of your research affirm your hypothesis (?). Ex. NIST did not look for explosives or explosive residues in the WTC debris because they already knew that there were no explosives used -- it was solely the planes.
As for validating Harrit et al.'s findings, I've read the article, but I admit that I don't know what the feedback except for that one expert had no argument against it.

The late Danny Jowenko, a highly respected European demolition expert, not knowing that WTC 7 fell on September 11, 2001, stated immediately upon watching a video of WTC 7 falling that it was "controlled demolition...absolutely...done by a team of experts."

@unRompecabezas ~ I do believe him. I have seen nothing that would lead me to not believe him. When he thought he was wrong about the FL 77 airphones (seatback phones) he apologized for the error. Then it turned out, upon further research, that his initial assertion was correct -- there were no activated seatback phones.
When asked about Chomsky's disparagement of the Truth Movement, he was a total gentleman in his criticism of Chomsky. I would have called Chomsky an idiot (which I did).

If you take the time to notice. The plane exploded INSIDE the building and predominantly at the North end. The coolest areas are going to be the furthest away from that.. Where the entry hole is. If your going to go for oxygen your not going to the last area the plane ended up. I've seen that video of Edna. She may in fact have been there i don't dispute that. But the video looks VERY doctored to me. Looks looped.

I believe you can even read the data recorder parameters at the NTSB FOI web page. I checked it out a while back. The people were reduced to pretty much jello paste as even Wally Miller said there were no.. "Bodies" a 300,000 pound aircraft hitting the ground at a right angle doing 560mph?

There has been a bit of confusion regarding the phone calls, but there is such an abundance of evidence in every other regard, there can be no doubt that the exact truth about the phone calls will come out in a trial. In any case, the FBI states that cellphone calls weren't made, yet some calls supposedly had cellphone ID. C'mon! Bring on the international court!

people say you can't make cell phone calls from a plane BUT i have before.. i tried a few times and it didn't work.. but another time i tried i got through to my dad and we was chatting for about 4 minutes.
sometimes cell phones work on a plane and some time they don't, its just luck. when my call got through to my dad we was very high up over the atlantic ocean going to France.

I never heard them confiscate videos in my life but i do no for a fact they found parts of the plane at the crash site of the pentagon. And wat did they really need better frame video? So my question to you, is how can you sit here and argue against the official reports when you haven't even read them? And don't say you have read them, because you thought the 9/11 Commission Report had something to do with explaining why the towers collpased.

'Truthers' fire an arrow into a wall and then draw a target around it....It looks as if they are very accurate until you realise....One nutter believes that the plane that hit the second tower was a hologram...projected onto a plastic sheet (about 200,000 square feet)....he must have tied it to the roof of his car to get it to the towers ..or maybe brought it on the train....waddya think!

Funny how NO other jet had a succesful cell phone calls made. The second plane heading towards after the WTC, already seeing the crash one the first place.....you'd think the passengers would have been made calls. Just a Govt cover up, the only to cover up the Gov't shooting down Flight 93. They had to say cell phone calls came in saying the passengers were rushing into the the cockpit...whatever
