i spent a day filming the grass in a few different locals around capim grosso. i liked this footage because of the way the city emerges from the grass, seems to grow out of it. i liked the grass ceding space to the city, the city under construction. both are themes that will be in the book. then the children have to do with the first picture shown, the one of a solitary girl playing in the grass. i feel like it is a common memory, experience for many capim grossenses. beautiful pic too...
