There's a reason why Empire of the Sun sounds so good and there's a reason why most people don't understand this video. I saw them at Outside Lands yesterday and they're live show fucked with my brain. Luke Steele kept staring at me as he was doing his performance. They are the people that rule the world. Sucking the venom and selling your soul are very good clues to what I'm getting at. The whole show was filled with brain-washing noise and images of mortality and death. They are not human.

@heathlive @heathlive Oh yes, new album is definitley coming for sure, Nick's returned, both been working on new tracks since end of 2010 for the Empire.

Second, there's a reason why mainstream somewhat downgrades the music. Its great having so many people like it, and Empire deserves the success, but we all know that its the record company that mostly profits from mainstream music. When music becomes mainstream it is also somewhat spoiled, just a bit.
