It's the concept of coming back to an old favorite with some greater depth breathed into it.

What the hell do people mean when they say this is ''3D''?

All computer games are 2D, the 3D perspective is illusary. There is no difference between this and the original starcraft game. They look identical.

The difference is that if you move the screen, you can see behind something you couldn't see from a different position. The original starcraft did not have this perspective camera feature.

Everyone in the entire world knows that it's not "actually" 3D, they just use it to name the illusionary effect.

Also, "3D" means that all 360 degrees of a sprite are drawn, while "2D" means that 8 different sprites are drawn for each direction the sprite can face.

Hy, I'm just downloaded this Addon or Mod or I don't know what is it :)

I've WC3 with TFT and SC with BW too.

I installed the mod, and i can run it. The main manu is perfect, but I can't play. If i click custom game, I can't chhose race. And if I click to Start game, the game doesn't start.

Does anyone knows what is the problem?

This looks like it'll be great but it needs a lot of work. Add ons showing up to everyone has to go, and the buildings need to show more "in process" but it's a work in progress and this can probably only go so far. Good work so far all those are PR.

btw, blizzard will not sue this project. I read some stuff on their site. It REQUIRES you to prurchase Warcraft III/Frozen Throne + Starcraft and Broodwars. A lot of the files needed to play this game can only come if you own the blizzard games. Hence, this is a MOD, not an actual full game. So dont bs me with shit like, "i'm not going to buy all 4 games just play this".

Blizzard most likely won't take it to court if they havn't yet. So long as they are smart and don't charge for the mod, I don't forsee a problem. It's just a damn well made mod and has taken them years to make. Blizzard might even hire these guys (we can only hope).
