  • Extremely good, man!

  • the intro sounds more like streets of london than think twice, but maybe it's just me being old fashioned :-)

  • EPIC

  • you´re doin one of the best version I think!

  • very folky my friend well sang i felt the song

  • I very much enjoyed the way that you played and sang this 5 * * * * * you should do lots more vids

I have liked folk music and Dylan for over 40 years so trust me mate when I say that this was (in my opinion) totally brilliant.

  • mate, usually i dont enjoy covers on youtube too much

this was awesome...i actually replayed it straight away

    top man

  • Nice work! There seems to be two more common ways of singing this.. One sort of "talk-singing" like on the old Dylan recording, and this way with some more melody to it. I have seen several versions here on youtube with this melody. It's nice.

I uploaded my attempt from listening to the freewheeling Bob Dylan. I liked your version so I will post my attempt as a little response.

ps. you have a really nice singing voice pambo :)

  • Well done.

  • Reminds me of another cover I've heard. I did mine in a really different style... I just can't imitate a singer/performance, I feel like musing them more.

For me, Dylan is everything, he's a big part of where my singing voice comes from, but I can't play anything note-for-note. One part is I'm not talented enough. =P Good luck man, it's a nice departure in parts, in others a nice capturing of the original spirit of the song.

  • I like the way you tabbed this song, I did it differently, but I guess they sound pretty alike, great job

  • you have a very good singing voice.

  • Great job, but you switched up the lyrics at the beginning. It's "if you don't know by now" before "it don't matter anyhow".

  • hell dylan changes it everytime i see him. i'm sure he won't mind! *LOL*

  • Simple, pure, spot on. Hard to beat this version. This is not the toughest of finger picking songs, but this is what I aspire to. You've really shown me something to work towards. Very well done.

  • I enjoyed this very much. Thanks. Nice finger picking.

  • you're great

  • you've got a sweet voice... yeah, sounds like Donovan to me too :) keep going dude.

  • Donovan was like the british Bob Dylan lol

  • great job man! ever hear the 1962 gaslight version from dylan? incredible version!

  • super man

    really good

  • Singing like Donovan to me..

  • you sing like a very old woman or something you play much better than your soft whispering voice hehe but keep on rocking over there and do the good job ;-))

  • Dude ! Where can i find the tabs for this song??

    Plz help me ! :D

  • sweet job

  • man this is great

  • nice :)

  • i liked it but for some reason a lot of bass came out on my speakers. that wasnt you so PERFECT

  • Fantastic! I really enjoy listening to you play this song.

  • i like it. the picking is very good. your voice is a little washy, but up against Dylan's incredibly unique and interesting vocal style (which makes most of his songs), you did good.

  • As a love song it is lame whining.

As a "screw you bitch for wasting my time"

farewell and go to hell song it is quite clever.

    Choice is yours.

  • lol. i agree. I never would have admitted liking some whiny borderline emo song about lost love (i would've probably still liked it a little, but not openly) but when dylan says "you just kina wasted my precious time" it really spoke to me, it's like telling the B**ch to f**k off. Never seen in a love song, which is why Bob is so brilliant

  • Very beautiful and resting !

  • beautiful. interesting you used a nylon here

  • Iam sorry. I don't like this version so mutch. The guitar is oke but please: don't think twice is not this softly and gay kind of singing.

  • that's only because dylan wasn't good enough a singer to be soft. brilliant songwriter he was, and he did have an interesting voice but it wasn't technically great. nice cover man (Y)

  • Get yourself a copy of "Good as I Been to You"

album and then tell me Dylan wasn't technically

    great.

  • Great picking and vocals!

I'm looking through your other videos and I see that we share similar tastes. You're a pretty hip guy!

  • lovely singing...shame we can't see your eyes!

  • I think a point a bit - this is really a bit of "screw

you" sarcastic song rather than a nostalgic ballad

about lost love. Nice picking tho.

  • not bad Pambo80 - but see FretKillr's version and weep - I know I do!

  • Well Bob Dylan is a genius when it comes to lyrics... but my calculus professor reads from our text book with more emotion then Dylan does when he sings.

  • yeah, he didn't write it. it's written in the record booklet.

  • fucking brilliant. great voice and nice pickin'. and for everyone debating on here, dylan took old irish folk songs and such and covered them into his own.

  • Please be more assertive. I'd like to know how you know, if you catch my drift. I'm a bit of a dylan fan.

  • thats very cute in a way, your voice is very soothing... :) three thumbs up, man. i warn you tho... this may go to my favorites!

  • Nobody sings Bob Dylan like Bob Dylan, but this was wonderful.

  • Very nice,

The way you sing it, it kind of reminds me of the version of Ramblin' jack Elliot.. Really nice

  • Thank you for sharing this. I really enjoyed every second of it. It's such a beautiful song and you performed it very well! Cheers!

  • are you serious?

  • effing brilliant!!!

  • sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet

  • Beautiful!

  • really nice - many thanks -

  • that brought tears to my eyes, that was fucking powerful. great performance.

You had the proper restraint in both vocal and instrumental performance that so many seem to neglect.

    great job

  • lovely.

  • hehe this is nice :) your voice sounds almost the same as bob dylans ^^ but yours is actually better :)

  • best cover of it ive seen

  • very well done.

  • good job

  • great version.

  • fukin great well done

  • nicely done

  • excellent

  • brilliant

  • Great.

  • Wow! Very nice! :D Very, very nice! I tried to play it too, but it's soooooo damn quick... You made it just a bit slower and play it a little different, but it's still Don't Think Twice... Simply beautiful!

  • Thats wonderful :D

  • Love your cover big dylan fan...Its almost meant to be played in a dark setting 5/5 thans!!

  • great stuff, i made a cover too, sucks compared to your skill

  • very nice.

  • very impressive

  • i would fall inlove with someone who could sing like that to me

  • With some practice (and maybe even some bronchitis) you might sound even more like Bob. The voice is already Dylanesque. It's good.

  • Nice playing... very melodic voice. I had started watching this to have a good laugh... but, I really liked it. Good luck if you're trying to get into music. :)

  • dude that was so good...i unfortunately bought myself and electric guitar..and have been regretting it since, its time for me to get an acoustic

  • Well done, good cover,

Particularly enjoyed the guitar work, relaxed style

  • Im loving this, great work =)

  • Excellent cover!!

  • Thanks for all your comments. I took the chords from an old guitar tab and just changed the melody slightly myself.

  • Amazing I've been trying to play this song forever and i just can't get it. Did you learn it by ear?

  • very nice!

  • good

  • gosh, your voice is so so so sexy, merely brilliant!

  • i wonder if people like dylan watches this sort of videos on youtube. Would be inspirational for him too probably.

    nice played

  • Dylan would be proud of this.

  • That's brilliant mate.

  • so sexy..
