NYPD Traffic Dirty Tricks. Is this legal?(1)

Last time I checked, you couldn't block the box. Blocking the box = ticket and (last I checked) 2 points. It's incredibly annoying how "enraged" everyone gets when traffic cops do their jobs. I honestly don't care if they "think they're cops", they can give you a ticket. The easiest way to not get a ticket, no big secret, is to not break the law. Apparently, people don't seem to care though, since these cars in the video are perfect examples.

People forget the traffic authority are not police officers period... They just work for the police department.. They have no legal authority to make a traffic stop or to detain you in anywAy shape or forum ... The low life's they hire think they are cops ... That's why so many of them get fired.. And or arrested.. They are not liked by many cops because of the way they act and how they think they are cops

This is 100% illegal traffic authority has no right to stop and make a traffic stops which they did. They can be sued by the driver for unlawful entrapment and for be detained. Which is a volition of your constitute rights. If that where me I would gave called 911 and had the police come there to arrest them for this act and to have a record of thus event .

Yeah its legal. The cops were technically not interfering w/ the flow of traffic. The cruiser that you showed in #4 was parked in a lane that was for metered parking and thus did not block a lane. Otherwise good video. They were ferocious, and you had a point.
