Regardless, when I spun in S.F. this was on, especially at the time. Whether it's Chicago, or SF, that deep soulful house we all love fits anywhere, cheers :)
its funny that its now 2009. 10 years after Basement Jaxx burst into the mainstream with Red Alert. I had been following them since 1997 wit h releases on thier independent label Atlantic Jaxx and had been hyped up to a frenzy by Mixmag in anticipation of thier debut album 'Remedy'. Needless to say it was a faultless interpratation of House music as a late nineties British interpretation of the driving, yet melodic North American dance beats of the modern era. Sweet melodies. Beautiful!
tune-playing the 12 now.thanks for putting on youtube :-)
