umm... if u r westerner (white) then its hard to learn.

if u r Japanese(obviously) or Korean then its fairly simple. If you are Chinese/Taiwanese it helps cuz of the kanji. Japanese has 3 major writing methods(?). Hiragana/Katakana/Kanji. Solidifying those are the basics. good luck.
