if i was to use these pics to judge this country i probably would not want to go, i'm sure theres aalot more to gambia than the huts you kept showing. i'm jamaican and as a jamaican we feel connected to west africa, so show us some beautiful pics of what i know is a beautiful country.........i would love to visit it one day soon

@timeoutdean Hi, you are right about there being more to The Gambia than mud huts. I went there in 2010 and took photos of my trip (the video is called 'The Gambia (3rd to 10th Nov. 2010)- A Week in Pictures'- I hope in some way they do this wonderful country justice! I am primarily a biologist by profession, so the photos are mainly of wildlife, but there are some others (people, buildings etc) which should tell you a bit more :-) Hope you find them useful! Enjoy visiting!

yep. the instrument is the Kora, an ancient 21 string harp-lute from West Africa :)
