You should add the clip where you get owned by Nobuaki Kakuda in a K1 rules match. KO so easily because your WC does not work against other styles. Watching you getting KO is so much fun.You should add it to your website, that way people would know who they are giving money too for lessons on techniques that don't work against real fighters.Also William Cheung getting beaten up by Emin would be good a 1 for your website. Why can't we see him enter the MMA ring then? I love wing chun, but I get frustrated that wing chun has no representation there, even though they no longer wear bulky gloves
A lot of what we do is banned in cage fights. Pressure point strikes, strikes to the throat, back of the head, knee and elbow joints are all banned, enev in Japan. There has been representation in MMA and we've done quite well. There was a point in Brisbane where if we entered a fighter into an amateur fight the promoter would enter a professional opponent to even things out and to discredit our schools (TWC or MWC - didn't matter). This pissed off a lot of people and many schools backed out.
As for other styles, there seems to be a contingent in Hong Kong who insist on putting WC fighters in the Muay Thai arena without proper training. The promoters lap this up and pay the fighters to come to Australia and put them up against seasoned Muay Thai boxers. This would all be fine except the WC fighter has probably never worn gloves except for the lead-up to a fight, where the MT fighters live in them. You see a pattern forming here?
It was choreographed by Sammo Hung, and for the record, Joe Sayah is a much better fighter than jet li in real life... jet li is mostly an actor, joe sayah is a master in his art and he teaches it 6 days of the week - Jet Li relies on cables and camera trickery to make his fighting look 'cool'.
