I did my Lasagna yesterday, thats why i was looking around on youtube and i found your video, because i wanna be sure how to do it , instead a got confuse, 1st. time doing a Lasagna i did pretty good, my family loved it but now i want to doit cooking the pasta in boiling water and bechamel style. Thank you very much. I guess all depends on people taste, but i do wanna try yours and i will. Thanks!
@Lucero2405 I guess it depends on taste. I have never used riccota cheese on my bechamel so I may give it a try :) Let me know if you like the lasagna.
@Lucero2405 I am not Italian but my mum lives in Italy and this is the way she tought me. I use more vegetables in my meat than she does. I guess you will have to give this one a go and see.
Oh my word - this lasagna looks fantastic, but it is sooooo much work! May I suggest buying a pre-made lasagna instead, and playing with your adorable daughter while she's still little and so much fun. Then, when she's grown up and comes back home to visit you on holidays, make her the delicious, special, homemade version. She's too cute for long hours cooking in the kitchen. Cheers!
I made my first lasagna last night and when I cut it, it fell apart and turned into a horrible pile of yuck. I'll have to try your recipe. Looks great.
I think I know the problem, you may have left too much sauce in the meat. The meat needs to dry out as much as possible. Another idea is to let the lasagna to cool down for a few minutes to gain stability.
everything you could do wrong, I did. The kids were hungry so I didn't let it rest. The sauce was too runny and I suppose the meat was a bit too saucy too. It was edible, but I'll try again with what you suggested, thanks!
I love how neat you had it cut on a plate. The layers looks very well presented, its very clean and you can actually see the layers, unlike those other mushy looking lasagnas. This is great and your daughter is such a sweetheart. Keep it up nivia. This is yummy.
It is very yummy indeed. I dont even remember how I came up with that recipe :)
About my little one, she so creative and love learning, I guess like any child. Your little brother must be adorable as well. I just love children :) I would have a football team but... hahahahaha!!
Yum and yum!! Looks delicious!! Oh love the baby running around, that's how it is when I'm in the kitchen :D Matter of fact, this morning my 2 yr. old ate the head and hands off my latest candy clay figurine!
hahahahahhaha! So cute! I am daughter does the same, when I show her one of my figurines she says: cake cake cake! When she eats my flowers and I just cant get angry because she looks so adorable, enjoying the sweet taste of them :D I guess that happens to you as well :)
A mi me encanta mi lasagna, espero que a ti tambien :) Asi es mi dia a dia, mi nina corriendo por la casa encuanto hago los aceres de casa! Creo que todo eso ya lo sabes, al tener dos nenes :)
yummy! Looks good Nivia. I think the lasagne I make is a heart attack in a baking dish!! My bechamel sauce is about 400ml cream & 3 or 4 egg yolks stirred over low heat then thickened with cornflour and add seasoning. It's very nice, but very rich, very fattening and I'm sure very bad for my heart!!

There's an easier way to make béchamel without lumps:
HOT ROUX + COLD MILK = NO LUMPS
